1976 Te31 Corolla

So here it is my first corolla 1976 te31 corolla just got the car in july birthday present to self! got it for a unbelievably low price, after seeing what the guys in puerto rico do to them i had to have one!!

when i got the car from the previous owner i guess it had been sitting for about 2 years was suppose to be his project it was running when he got it but for some reason decided to rip out all the factory wiring an tried to make a race car out of it with a bunch of switches lol, but besides that i guess the previous owner before him did all the upgrades to the car an i've some how managed to get in contact with him. i was told the car was originally a auto with a 2tc and he converted it to a 5speed with a freshly rebuilt 3tc port an polished intake manifold an head also milled down headers msd 6a electric fans and fuel pump & a pair of dual SU sidedraft carbs. i've finely got the car running again after rewiring the car back to stock a possible plus a few upgrades of my own. the guy i bought it from took the sidedrafts off an put a 32/36 weber in also came with a holley 5200.

 

I was thinking about swapping out that 3tc for a 2rz but i think i wonna stay original an save the 2rz for later!

so i've done a lot of research an boosting this motor is the way to go but i still want it to be a street car so nothing to crazy i would still like to daily it, i looked into the EFI an the ecu mega square stuff way to expensive ill save that for the 2rz as well! so a blow though carb setup it is!! i plan on using a sc14 supercharger supra intercooler holley 350 carb or my existing 32/36 weber. i've only seen it done once on the form with the same supercharger and 32/36 but draw threw!
