Frammo
Hey all. Have been having an ongoing issue with my 4AC. Whats happening is when you come to a stop, 9 times out of 10 it will lose idle and stall. Many people have said that the carby needle was dirty so I went off and bought a much newer carby of a 4ac and it was cleaned out. It worked great for about a week and now I am having the same issue. A mate seems to think that the EGR valve is faulty? Any idea on how to diagnose a faulty EGR valve? Thanks
GJM85
there is a 95% chance its a vacuum leak. Broken vac hose or leaky manifold gasket.

Frammo
Checked that this morning, was all good. Replaced the dizzy with cap and rotor, the coil, fuel filter and leads yesterday and it keeps idle now. When you start it its revs up to 2000 then drops to 1000 and moves up and down between 1000 and 1400. Doing the fuel pump on it today to see if that helps too.
