You can put a turbo on it and run the stock ECU (depending on boost, other mods etc). 4AGE will need new internals, wiring, ECU etc etc. Put up a wanted to buy ad, might get lucky. There are a few cheap AE82 4AGZE's around if you wanted to buy one of those, rip the engine, loom, ECU out and then part the rest of the car out.
