scratch that idea colin, those facet bits of junk make a god awful racket, and the factory (quiet) mechanical one pumps enough to feed my twin dells anyway!

 

As Reed said, pull the old one apart, they are extremely basic as you will see. Youll realise how easy it is to swap and it'll feel a million bucks when you do it and get it to work.

Got Bursosn to swap mine over. New one has the return and its tapped and actually leads somewhere! About to fit her up.

New pump is on.

 

No fuel getting to the carby, and all the lines are clear. The carby was rebuilt no more than a month ago. Any ideas?

All sorted now. Fitting instructions failed to mention about priming the pump.
