Ive just come across this web site and hoping you guys can help me out........

 

I have a Birkin Clubman which runs a Borg Warner M68 diff. It currently runs a 3.9 diff ratio which is way too high for my car.

 

Talking to a few people there are other diff ratios available with this diff a 4.11 and a 4.3.............whilst Ive heard of the 4.11 being available, I'm really looking for the 4.3 which would suit my car perfectly.

 

Is there such a ratio available and if so, can anyone point me the right direction to where I could find one??

What country are you in ??

 

There will be a metal tag on one of the bolts that holds the cover on. It tells you which type of Borg Warner, and also the ratio (makes life easy at the wreckers).

 

 

* Australia-assembled KE70

* some MKII Ford Escorts

* some Cortina

* AUS Mitsubishi Sigma 6.75 diff

* Australia assembled Corona

* TX and TC Gemini (Australia-assembled)

* South Africa-built Cressida

* Escort RS2000 South Africa used an M68 LSD

Is it the automatic Corollas that had that ratio?
