beerhead Posted April 1, 2006 Author Report Posted April 1, 2006 Cutting off a shifter makes it short, but doesn't make it a "short shifter". A short shifter has the center of axis of the shifter mounted higher so that you get more leverage on the selector. I drive trucks at work, my thinking is that it's all about how well you know a shifter, once you have fully adapted it's not a problem. Quote
