Ke55 Te51 Front Suspension/brake Upgrade

Just thought I would help someone out with some info..

 

I'm in the process of fitting s14 silvia coilovers, s14 lca's & s15 brakes + hub.. so far so good... couldn't believe how easy it's pretty much bolted in so far..

 

 

 

 

only had to die grind the holes out a little bit for it to fit in nicely, even used the nuts from the original struts..

 

 

the lower control arms bolted straight in to the k-frame the front castor rods I haven't decided yet whether to drill a new hole or get some s14 style and weld on some booker rod or something... the sway bar i'm going for a bigger unit and I need to mount it more forward as well as it's hitting the sr20 sump atm

 

 

so far so good, clears everything and have plenty of camber adjustment, etc for wherever it needs to be... next up is the hilux diff to get the back matching..

What bolt did you use for the LCA?

 

If the track gets too much, R31 LCAs bolt in, and are like 20mm shorter.

ahhh, yep used the original bolts.. cheers for that.. going to drill out the k-frame tomorrow and get some proper sized bolts..

 

hoping I can get away with these longer LCA's as I wanted to drift this car for a bit first before putting it back on the road..
