I've been offered a 1999 corolla with new clutch at 300,000kms for $2,500 by a dealer (was originally up for $3000)

 

Do you think this is a good deal or something else could be wrong with it due to age/mileage?

 

 

Only way to know is to get it inspected, preferably by someone independent. i.e RACV, NRMA etc.

 

That would be around top price I'd say. It would want to be a well optioned model in very good condition.

It's in good condition, has been garaged most of its life. Just had a new clutch put in. Comes with 12 month dealer warranty.
