Just after a little info. Recently bought a 1970 ke11 1200 with a 4 speed manual. I'm looking to change the 4 speed for a 5 speed box what sort of box would you guys recommend? Ive been thinking about a celica lt2000 5 speed.

Interested in peeps opinions

overkill, you have a car that weighs ... 650kg? you loose traction before the box needs anything that strong behind a K motor, just stuff a ke55 5 speed in there with a new shifter hole in the floor when it goes clunky, put a new one in ( they all whine, ignore that or chuck in some NEWLON if it realy bothers you
