  1. Ok guys as many of you know I'm in the middle of rebuilding my ke11 and running a sr20det in it. At the moment its currently stripped down to a bare shell ready for me to paint it so i figure id do some of the conversions needed for when the engine is in. I'm looking at converting the brakes, diff and clutch currently being a 1970 model car its running drum brakes all round so I'm after a few suggestions from you guys as to what brakes i should use, ive had ke55 disc brakes suggested but i don't think that they will be big enough any other recommendations diff, i have a few ideas in mind here, hilux diff or a lsd from a ea-eb falcon, any other suggestions. and clutch, this has to be converted from a cable to hydraulic ive had using a ta22 setup suggested any other ideas there. cheers Pete
  2. nice work there bud thats a really hot looking ke11
  3. I'm not a 100% sure about this but if you want to race on the track i think you would have to have it engineered to be able to pass scruterneering(spelling) correct me if I'm wrong guys
  4. looks awesome bud, its amazing how similar different makes of cars can be :)
  5. dude that sux i hate to hear about peoples cars being damaged by complete morons, yeah the rust might of set in and all but it doesn't necessarily mean it was going to cause the dramas your having atm :)
  6. currently none atm lol its sitting in the yard - an engine but I'm in the process of rebuilding the engine in my avatar to stick in the old girl its a sr20det :)
  7. good point here the only way we learn is to ask questions and give our knowledge and if we are wrong to be corrected by someone who does have the know how. Trial and error the best way of learning.
  8. It really does depend on the circumstances of it all to weather anything can be done, as for time restrictions i couldn't help there defiantly cal the above mentioned number and chat to them. road rage is seriously a cancer on the face of our roads. I mean there are allot of dickhead drivers out there, but some people do take it way to far. Being involved with the rural fire service for a number of years I've seen some pretty nasty accidents occur because of it and it always angers me. In a perfect world everyone would stick to the rules of the road and there would be no problems, shame we don't live in a perfect world :jamie: there was a rather funny video circulating a while back about some local yokal who decided to give it to some yupie in his convertible boy was that a mistake the yupie ended up pulling a gun n them and stealing their video camera and posting the video, some things just get way out of hand. Hope you can get past the fact of some wanker scaring the crap out of you as I'm sure he will get his. cheers Pete
