Robert Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 carby kit or other carby(s) + manifold id probably put a new regulator in the alternator while its out to fan belt, leads, poss. coil, poss. engine mounts Quote
Rolla Newbie Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 I would probably give it an oil and filter change withing 500-1000 clicks as well, no point wearing it out too new. And as much as I do not work for them, I have had good results from Nulon oil treatment. I had an old HR with a 186 and it was so much quieter, easier to start, much smoother running, dropped about 10 degrees F on the temp gauge, and improved fuel economy by about 2 mpg. Might be worth considering. Paul Quote
