Medicine_Man Posted June 11, 2004 Report Posted June 11, 2004 Does anyone know if you can still purchase genuine brand spanking new 4K Bosch Dizzy? My timing is all over the place lately, I dare say I'm up for a replacement.. Quote
Super Jamie Posted June 11, 2004 Report Posted June 11, 2004 seriously, that's going to be heaps! a better option is to get your distributor rebushed for about 50 bucks, coupled with a rebuild and new points and condenser (included in rebuild) and cap and rotor, you'll end up with an as-new dizzy anyway. you'd be paying a few hundred bucks for a shiny housing i sent mine to Performance Ignition Services in victoria who did a recurve at the same time, but they'll do just a plain a recondition for you no worries. auspostage was $11 from northern nsw, and $15 overnight freight back Quote
Medicine_Man Posted June 11, 2004 Author Report Posted June 11, 2004 I just want something that works, getting it regraphed sounds like a good idea, just have no idea who can do them up here.. Quote
Super Jamie Posted June 11, 2004 Report Posted June 11, 2004 rebushed. regraphing is $160. and f@$k oath it works, my timing used to be all over the place unless there was a bit of load on the distributor. now the mark on the crank pulley is f@$king rock solid all the way down to stalling speed just give them a call or email and post it down, that's what i did, and i'm only like a coupla hours south of you Quote
