  1. Nahh no pulse yet. Is there a certain way the Wires should go on the module?
  2. I pulled the dizzy out and spun it with a corded drill pretty fast. I should be getting my cable this week so we can actually see whats going on in the ecu. Yea that would be great. How big capacitor do you have?? I had a look through your build quickly you had a resistor on your wire from the coil.
  3. Ahh so I wired it up yesterday to suit the above. I had the ingition input to the positive side on the dizzy and ground to the negative. But what wire is to go from the ecu to the module so it knows when to shoot Is that the ignition output?? Thats what I have used and still got nothing in the form of cranking on the ecu
  4. I measured the gap before and it was already at 20thou. Ok so crank input and ground on the 4 plug. So does that mean positive is 12v positive from battery or the 5v positive from the main plug. Ive never wired ecu before so sorry for shitty questions
  5. Ok so I finally got round to wiring the corolla. Just going over the wiring diagram. Now for the dizzy you said I need a 5v for positive and a ground from the ecu. My problem is I also need a 5v for the tps can I use the same 5v wire to do both and which wires then go to the ignition module?
  6. Ok so next question is would you happen to know what wire I need to splice into for the ecu? The negative at the dizzy for ecu signal?
  7. Can I use the dizzy I have? Without a cas in it? And still useing the rotor button and cap?
  8. I bought the lt8 from a guy at kingscliff nsw for 300 I thought it was a good price. Come with loom, pc plug and a x4 ignitor
  9. Ok. I got a few ideas here all of which seem to have worked. I'm thinking the easiest way would be to gwt a 4agze dizzy and make it fit to a 4k dizzy. That way I'm not having to pay for the re programming of my ecu. What do you guys think. Changing to mitsubishi internals is a good idea if I knew exactly what to get and where from but still would need to be reprogrammed. In the end of the day its either gotta be 4agze or re program I guess
  10. How different is the e6x to wire in compared to lt8? Any easier? What would I benifit from it? Also kickn5k do you know exactly what cas you are running? If I where to go that way that would help?
  11. Thats the inside of the dizzy with and without the cover
  12. I can do this arfternoon when i get home. So in saying the ecu controls the dizzy. Would I need a cas or is that what your trying to see inside the dizzy
  13. At the moment I havent changed to that ecu trigger yet. I tried and nothing work so I changed it back. The positive I'm talking about is from when you turn the key on the power sends to the module from the coil. I followed that how to install a electronic distributor guide on here. So with the trigger attached it should just be positive to the coil and from the coil to the dizzy?
  14. Ahhh that is really helpful. I'm a fitter and turner by trade so machining is easy. So really ive gotta make the top of a 4agze dissy bolt to the bottom of my 4kc. This sounds "interesting" I shall do some research and see what I can come up with thanks. If I do this do you think that is all I shall have to do. Its a 1.5 block supercharged. Pretty close configurations.
