  1. Nahh no pulse yet. Is there a certain way the Wires should go on the module?
  2. I pulled the dizzy out and spun it with a corded drill pretty fast. I should be getting my cable this week so we can actually see whats going on in the ecu. Yea that would be great. How big capacitor do you have?? I had a look through your build quickly you had a resistor on your wire from the coil.
  3. Ahh so I wired it up yesterday to suit the above. I had the ingition input to the positive side on the dizzy and ground to the negative. But what wire is to go from the ecu to the module so it knows when to shoot Is that the ignition output?? Thats what I have used and still got nothing in the form of cranking on the ecu
  4. I measured the gap before and it was already at 20thou. Ok so crank input and ground on the 4 plug. So does that mean positive is 12v positive from battery or the 5v positive from the main plug. Ive never wired ecu before so sorry for shitty questions
  5. Ok so I finally got round to wiring the corolla. Just going over the wiring diagram. Now for the dizzy you said I need a 5v for positive and a ground from the ecu. My problem is I also need a 5v for the tps can I use the same 5v wire to do both and which wires then go to the ignition module?
  6. Ok so next question is would you happen to know what wire I need to splice into for the ecu? The negative at the dizzy for ecu signal?
  7. Can I use the dizzy I have? Without a cas in it? And still useing the rotor button and cap?
  8. I bought the lt8 from a guy at kingscliff nsw for 300 I thought it was a good price. Come with loom, pc plug and a x4 ignitor
  9. Ok. I got a few ideas here all of which seem to have worked. I'm thinking the easiest way would be to gwt a 4agze dizzy and make it fit to a 4k dizzy. That way I'm not having to pay for the re programming of my ecu. What do you guys think. Changing to mitsubishi internals is a good idea if I knew exactly what to get and where from but still would need to be reprogrammed. In the end of the day its either gotta be 4agze or re program I guess
  10. How different is the e6x to wire in compared to lt8? Any easier? What would I benifit from it? Also kickn5k do you know exactly what cas you are running? If I where to go that way that would help?
  11. Thats the inside of the dizzy with and without the cover
  12. I can do this arfternoon when i get home. So in saying the ecu controls the dizzy. Would I need a cas or is that what your trying to see inside the dizzy
  13. At the moment I havent changed to that ecu trigger yet. I tried and nothing work so I changed it back. The positive I'm talking about is from when you turn the key on the power sends to the module from the coil. I followed that how to install a electronic distributor guide on here. So with the trigger attached it should just be positive to the coil and from the coil to the dizzy?
  14. Ahhh that is really helpful. I'm a fitter and turner by trade so machining is easy. So really ive gotta make the top of a 4agze dissy bolt to the bottom of my 4kc. This sounds "interesting" I shall do some research and see what I can come up with thanks. If I do this do you think that is all I shall have to do. Its a 1.5 block supercharged. Pretty close configurations.
  15. So I guess the only other option is to get it remapped? ? Get it remapped to suit the dizzy that I've got and get everything else that needs to be changed at the same time. Or?? Would using a 4agze type crank sensor work instead of cam angle sensor? I don't even know what a 4agze cam sensor looks like. I few guys on here have used mitsubishi cas. But there is no specifics on it.
  16. I just want to get everything connected right before trying. The lt8 ecu that I got was programmed for a 4agze. I dunno how different my setup is compared to 4 agze but id say its pretty close to be able to get it started atleast. Ive emailed microtech they havent replied to me yet.
  17. Nahh I tried to wire it up like the single distributor on the second page of the pdf file you loaded. I havent been inside the distributor to find the wires. I'm at work at the moment so its hard to say what is there until this arvo. The 4 pin plug on mine are all red besides the earth. if the wires are there in the dizzy which one should I use the crank signal 1 or 2 and the positive? I think I have a laptop with the pc port same as the adaptor that I got with the ecu. I shall have a look this arvo about those to things. But with that module I'm not getting nothing at the dizzy. Well wasnt last night when I was checking. Every thing was back to standard
  18. Ive got a bim 024 module but I think I broke it. I'm not getting any positive out of it now meaning the dizzy isnt getting at power to send spark. With or with the ecu plugged in. I wasnt going to use the ecu for spark but it looks like I will have to. Ive been following the lt8 diagram to the extent where I can remember most colours. The cranking wire grey/blue I tried to hook that up to the module like it said but it didnt work but I think that's what broke the module. The 4ku dizzy is locked, I don't know much about distributors.never pulled one apart so bare with me on the internals I'm located algester 4115 Mathew :)
  19. Ive got a 4ku electronic distributor. But haven't been able to get it to work like that. I havent got a hand held or computer to be able to change any setting in the ecu yet... The hall affect how does that work?? Would that distributor have 2 or more wires?
  20. Hey guys I have come to a stop in my build. I have a worked 5k block/4k head with Solid lifters and cam.and a sc12 I have recently bought a 4ke efi manifold and microtech lt8 ecu Now the problem I'm having is I have no trigger for the injectors. I'm in need of assistance on how to fit a cam sensor into the dizzy or A crank sensor. Just wondering if you guys have done this. Have read a few pages and nothing really outlines what exactly was used and how it was achieved. Any help would be appreciated Thanks mathew
  21. The reason it may not idle under 2 would be because you revved it so high. I found when I was running points that if I revved it past 6700 the points couldn't keep up. And had to reset them
  22. Great build guys. Keep it up. Love seeing it come together. Just spent 45mins reading the whole build. And then bam no more.. ohh the suspense haha... keep the post coming
  23. Just checking is that $80 for just the master cylinder or would that be including the banjo fittings as well if bought from the wreckers?
  24. Hey guys just coming to this mod on the list of things to do.. I cannot find anything on ebay on this distributor, anyone have any ideas or leads on where to find this dissy?
