  1. sorry to revive a very very old post... but i have just started with this PS conversion. the PS rack and pinion above is of unknown origin... i haven't been able to find a stock TE70 or AE86 PS rack and pinion locally (here in Philippines). as for the pump and pump bracket, I am using the PS pump from a 7K engine (coming from a locally available toyota utility vehicle called REVO). the unit have yet to run :poke:
  2. An idiots question coming up!!! :P :P I read from somewhere, that they were able to DOUBLE (from a less than 70Hp to 140Hp range) the horsepower of the 4K engine by some tinkering on the parts and "whatever" of the original engine. Is this technically possible?
  3. I am looking ito converting the manual steering of a toyota with a 4KC engine into a power steering one. Has anybody done this? What car (model or make) was your "donor" for the whole set-up to do it successfully?
  4. Thanks medicine man! you really are a MEDICINE MAN!!! Care to share your toyota training manual over the net in pdf format perhaps???
  5. Good point Nick...okay I'll forget about the terminologies for now...hehehe :P Thanks guys!
  6. Thanks a lot for the replies. I did made a search earlier and ended with the picture posted by medicine man. But I have a problem with the terminologies used in the picture (that's why I was searching for the workshop manual instead)... words/terminologies used in the picture diagram -like: VSV, VCV, VTV, HIC, EGR-VM, Ch.B, BVSV, Canister, DP, V s/w, TVSV Sorry I'm not really familiar with these and was hoping the workshop manual might have a better explanation for it/them - the picture did state that "See Repair Manual When you have any question"
  7. I badly needed a copy so I can "correct" the vacuum hoses of my 4KC. Thanks in advance.
  8. Irokin: I have to appologize for my countrymate, here is the interpretation (ke70 GT was obviously in phone texting mode - the Filipino people "have been addicted" to phone texting so that to conserve character space, they have developed a new form of spelling the english language :P ) yeepee!! never thought there's a site like this... really nice! whoa! newbie,obviously... this site is good... guys, help me out for old school parts if you have any....? thanks He was looking for: 2T performance parts or for parts of ke70! HTH :y:
