  1. Ok thanks Maybe I should have posed my question better Will the stock tyres fit on the wider rims?
  2. Yes that is correct The difference is the width of the rim, the stock rims are only 4" wide while the mesh rims are 5.5" wide so the smaller tyre will be stretched a bit to fit
  3. Thats quite a good site, I did the comparison and my speedo will be 1.21km out at 100km/ph, so when I'm doing 100 on the speedo I'll actually be going 101.21
  4. Thanks xr8racer do you know what way it would put it out? ie higher or lower than the actual speed? oops posted this before carbon boy posted :P is there anyway to get around that?
  5. Hi all I've been on rollaclub for a while now but haven't posted a whole lot. I've got a 1983 ke70. At the moment it has the stock 13" rims on it, I however have a set of 13x5.5" mesh rims that I'm going to put on The stockies have 165/75/13 tyres while the mesh rims have 185/65/13 tyres on them which are bald as buggery. My question to you is, would it be possible to swap these tyres over and would they fit? Ie put the 165/75/13 tyres on the mesh rims Thanks for your help Ben
  6. hey amte u got a ke70 aswell. u in syd?

  7. After reading through this thread I have a couple of questions of my own, ive just got a set of simmons v4s 15x6 +15 front and 15x7 +0 rears. Not 100% on offset but that is what I was told I own a ke70. Firstly what would the best tyre size to use be? And secondly would these fit without needing to roll the guards? The currents tyres on them are 205/50/15, but judging by this thread that is too big and would foul on the guards is this correct? Any suggestions and advice are appreciated Thanks
  8. Yea good point. I just really hate wiring and don't want to have to pull the dash apart  but oh well i guess I'm going to have to By the way Johno i like your sedan :) I really havent seen many around ill put up a build thread shortly of what ive done so far.
  9. The only actual 4agze harness i have is the engine harness the rest are either 4age harnesses or 4ac harness and is there a particular reason why?
  10. hey all long time browser first time poster i originally had an ae82 twinky which i put a 4agze engine in, i really only changed the engine harness in the twinky. Ive just bought an ae82 sedan which had a 4ac in it which I'm swapping for the 4agze do i need to swap the interior harness or should most of the wires be the same between the 2? they both have the fuse/circuit boxes in the kickpanels, both have the same ignition barrels and steering etc so I'm just not to sure... i have the harnesses out of both cars i just don't want to have to swap them over if i don't need to. thanks in advance big ben
