Have cut the front guards accordingly and also discovered that the door shapes are different. BOO!!! Had everything mocked up on the car to make sure it all fits and it doesnt look half bad, just the gap between the door and guard looks is a bit average. Other than the cutting and grinding it all bolts up pretty much (lights, guards, grill etc). Cut out and treated all the rust, just gotta bog it sand it and spray it matte black. Will definitely be changing them too propper ke/ae71 guards in the future so the door matches, shoulddo for now though. pics up shortly!!!! Can a t18 auto diff be put into a KE?? Coz its a single piece tail shaft?! :P

well will start work on it 2moro, will post some pics and keep youz updated, incase any of you are thinkin of doin this. I have already bought the car, so my super awesome fabrication skills must be required LOL. I had to choose the hard way aaaaagggghhhhhh

I'm ok with cutting and modding stuff its just how extensive is it? its a t18 se semi hatch thing looks like it just needs some trimming on the guard up where the windscreen/wiper panel joins the door kinda :( yes i have the whole car.

Has anyone fitted t18 guards to a ke70?? Wondering, as i have just bought a t18 to replace my broken front end on my ke70, thinkin that they are interchangeable. And by looking at boths guards they appear to be slightly different. HELP!! :(

haha yeah was a bit pissed :P at first but when i realised there wasnt any serious damage, it was so silly and kinda funny. Nah ran fine, drove straight which was surprising, but just had its pretty little face smooshed

donor car, T-18 even comes with that mega gay sky blue paint. Using front end, diff, brakes and probly suspension. Pickin it up early next week. Didnt waste anytime stripped the front and guards off the day i crashed. had to straighten the umm headlights mount/subframe a bit that the radiator bolts to.

Well this is what my ride used to be like, up untill recently... Model: Ke70 cs Sedan slanty front. Suspension/brakes: standard suspension and brakes. Driveline: 4agze map DLI, T50 box, standard shaft and diff. Mods:Basically all the AE71 shiz, Crossmember diff box etc... Full OBX extractors 2'' Zorst to anon with 4inch tip. Top mount intercooler (for now.. Its poo). Excel radiator with thermo fan. 4litre surge tank vl turbo external pump and repco lift pump. Untill this happened when i got back from holiday, basically went up the ass of a commodore wagon with a towball because the woman in front of him could make up her mind whether she wanted to turn a broke suddenly. obviously me rollin with stock brakes just simply got out braked and bang. Its was still drivable no leaks got her home. But to top it all of i did it in front of a corolla cruise, you might be able to make them out in the background. :P How embarrassing. Lucky all cosmetic Phew!? More pics of donor car and strippage.
