So I've been talking to someone that knows about a little 63 Toyota 700 publica in a paddock, I know it is for sale it's had a hard life, bonnet is hammered, roof is caved in, has engine but not in car,interior is nearly gone, some rust so it's Definetly not a overrated example.. What would you pay for some like this? I don't plan on working on it, either let it sit or on sell.

Nothing major ATM, I've had a few dramas with my 180sx and I blew up my daily, so the ke10 hasn't had much attention... And yet I did not like the work that I have done so I cut off the lot, it will now be running a tube chassis, IRS rear etc so it is obviously not going to see the road legally again, so the 12a was sold off with plans of a 13b semi pp turbo or a 20bpp... But a engine is a very long way off, wheels are also for sale (ae tek 15x8) will be running different sizes now

Hey buddy, good to see something different on here (engine choice), keep up the good work! With your bumpers, here in Austraila you can have them sent away to be repaired and rechromed or you could possible repair them yourself and paint them?? Obviously depending how damaged etc People on here are hard to hard to please, generally the reason I don't bother anymore... Sadly unless you have a k series engine or 4age and think you know all there is they won't really pay much attention... All the best with the build I'll be sure to keep a eye on it.

Well pretty well everything has changed on this, engine bay it being cut off, engine is sold for something a bit more silly, chassis rails are in, Independant rear is in the fitting stages, also on a chassis bench. It will remain registered but wont driven on the street as there won't be 2 much thats legal in the eyes of the law... Pics will be uploaded once the tube work is done and the car is off the bench.

So ive been real busy working on every one's car but the rolla :( just starting to get some more attention... Engine bay has pretty well been completely cut out now its tubbed, firewall has been cut out flat firewall put it, new strut tops have been waterjet cut pulled back a little for some added castor and pushed in for more camber and to fit up the rx7 fc suspension, hubs, brakes etc etc Its all still just tacked (and half finished) still triple checking all the measurements before i start welding and finishing it off yes car is still registered and will be and IS possible for the engine etc to be mod plated its just who you know :) so i still have quite alot of work ahead just in the engine bay but soon as its finished and squared up on the car o liner at work ill be making a chassis bench and the whole floor (firewall to beaver panel) will be cut out making a 1/2 chassis 4link coilover and flat floors... Sorry if the photos are on the piss or bad quality ill get some nice ones up when the engine bay is done

in need of new tyres for more stretch...will stretch the guards out a little also! Currently have 195 55 15 federals 595 evos on which never have been used so if anyone is interested on a set of 4 let me know. Will be buying toyo t1r 195 45 looks alot better and will fit!

So I bought a set of 15x8 aeteks -0 and a set of widend steelies today and my taillights rocked up today!!!

Hey all thanks for the comments, progess is slow... I'm waiting on a pair of hubs for my rx7 front end( running the rx7 brakes etc but machining them to run 4x114.3 stud pattern.. And also waiting cash for some wheels lol wanting to run Rota Rb rims 15or16x7 +4 in the front with streched federal 595s with flush fitment and 17x9.5 -19 in the rear wanting it to tuck rim... Once the rims are here I can start tubing the ass end and making the new strut towers up front... Will be a very fun car once it's done! yeah much more than apples here! Lol The ke was regoed with the 4k in it no modplate or certificates! Lol so I just continue to pay rego while it sits in the shed... Makes it easier later on

hey all progress is still slow, lots of other things going on at the moment... but until about 15mins ago ive never opened the glove box on the ke10... so i found a toyota service booklet, which has information as to where the car was originally purchased from and the original owner, if any one could help me find some info on the dealer or old owner that would be sensational.... owners name - I. Moras of Brunswick st Lismore NSW Dealer - Terry Sharp Motors 69 Magellan st Lismore Nsw i know its probably impossible but worth a shot its a ke10b, ke10 454362 delivery 1/8/69 Also impossible but would love to buy back the original k engine - k660218

Thanks for the comments, should be a fun car, brakes are a must I've 290mm rotors and 4pot calipers for the front haven't dunno what to do on the rear yet and will have coilovers all round, shouldn't hav a problem stopping or handling... Progess is slow due to funds and time, but soon as there is some I'll put it up

Hey all, I'm pretty new to this site but have got alot of valuable info from some of the build ups on here, so I thought I'd do a build up topic if my own.... Here goes, It's a matt black 69 ke10 (my second rolla ive owned to a ke35), when I got it it had a 4k with a 5speed. I had it regoed for 2 days and I torn the g/box mount in half and broke a axle lol. So I started pulling it apart with the intention replace the g/box mount and fix up the diff and use it as a daily for a few months... Insted the engine, box and most of the interior came out.... So I found a fresh 12a Bridgeport and rx5 box on ausrotary so I grabed it and a few other bits and peices. Then the tunnel was cut and removed also enlarged on the firewall, firewall also modified to run a series 2 rx7 booster and master, and the pedal box got the treatment also, a polished alloy engine x member was made also gbox x member was made... I got a hilux diff, fuel cell, rack and pinion, s4 rx7 hubs, brakes and coilovers for the front end, belt drives, electric water pump all to go in, just lazy lol so the plans are to get the engine in fitting and fully drivable with the 4linked, coilovered hilux rear end, new tunnel, mini tubbed, all rx7 brakes and coilovers in the front etc etc... then strip it all down again untill its a bare shell and sandblast, panel and paint, and while I'm working on the body the trim will be getting done SORRY ABOUT THE BAD QUALITY PICS - Ill start using my camera and not my phone lol heres 2 very terrible qualtiy pics from the day i got it, i did have a really good one beside my bagged rodeo but i can't find it :(, as you can see it isnt the tidiest example but over all is in good condition, the paint job is shit lol body work isnt that great (I'm a panelbeater so I'm picky) but there isnt much rust at all so i was happy about that. The interior is pretty shagged (seats torn and falling apart and door trims have got wet and are all out of shape. All the brakes, suspension, steering, engine etc etc was in pretty good condition... next shot is another bad quality 1 (using my iphone) the 4k came out and trial fitting the 12a and box next 2 has the rx7 booster fitted and modified pedal box to make it work, and just finished welding in the xmember mounts, all in all in very happy with the xmember its super light! It needs polishing again but that can wait till the engine goes in to stay in... this pic is what state its curently in engine is out for the millionth time lol and th original xmember is getting cleaned up (cuting off all the unneeded stuff) I'm located in a small 2 hrs from bris called Warwick so if anyone has some parts the wana sell me around my area will travel to goldie/ bris etc really need taillights any positve comments, opinions, suggestions id be really happy to hear cheers
