  1. Do you still have the: type J (NOS GT all chrome bullet fender mirrors) ? I'm interested in them.

  2. Thanks pete. Actually we moded the ke2x crossmember. Yeah, ive been told the space in between could accomodate a thin condenser. I guess il go shopping for one. Hopefully the need to cut up the front valance doesnt come up
  3. hey guys, I'm at a temporary pause on my project, I'm sure it has been done before so i hope someone here can share ideas, or pictures of their build. i have a ke25 and we just planted a 2tg engine in it. I don't have a radiator yet, but as it sits, the clearance between engine and radiator seem to be slim. my concern is the size and thickness of the radiator, plus the fans, and the a/c condenser. if anyone here has done a ke25 with a 2tg, and air conditioning, i'd really appreciate your inputs, and if possible, some pictures
  4. YO man just wondering if you got any mirrors left? if so which ones? cheers

  5. hey

i was wondering if you would ship the type f femder mirror to israel

    thanks

  6. problem solved guys. the guy i bought it from sent me a set of valve seals of what we can only suspect for now is intended for a nissan. but fit and works perfectly though, another slightly off topic question. i got an x30b cam, tried searching for write ups about it. any thoughts? lift? duration?
  7. thanks for the very useful advice fellas, i havent looked into the project for quite a while and thought i had purchased all the parts needed to have this k engine project going, and this was supposed to be the last step, thought id get it up and running by this week, but the trd springs posses another problem, currently i got the standard valve seals on em, and am quite relieved to hear from you guys, that though costly, these are the right springs for my project, its just a matter of stretching my patience and budget (sadly) to have them in there and working @altezzaclub - I'm using the rubber ones, measured 15.5 in the caliper, i had a new set of narrower ones delivered, hopefully it gets here tomorow and i can post more pics of them and the current status of the engine (the more advices the better) @jimi91 - bought them from a good friend here, he has an extra set of these springs. il ask him if he's selling @Cameron - thanks. i printed what you just typed, so the springs themselves arent even half the story? aside from designing these to perform very well. trd also designed for them to be sold as a whole? LOL its good to know that i got an option not to use the inner ones though. just in case this whole thing proves to be very costly, out of curiosity. how much did you pay for your blue ones, and is can we still order a set? @trd- that again posses the same dilemma, turns out i might be leaning to purchase the rest of the parts to fit hey cam say question as jimi, and if so a little help sourcing out these trd parts? =)
  8. i purchased a set of trd double valve springs to go in my 5k engine problem that came up was, i could not insert the inner springs coz they hit the valve seals on the way in, and if this was in fact a trd part intended for a k engine why would this problem with fitting arise? questions is there an option for perhaps thinner valve seals on a k engine? or are they on a standard 15.5 diameter? or given the pictures, think i got the wrong item?
  9. oh yeah. i think i've seen the process on youtube. think il give it a shot, and thanks for your input by the way regarding the bolt on flares
  10. damn troy that is one of the best ke20's ive ever seen, but yeah i agree, i just posted this up coz its been puzzling me for quite a long time, its not that its been written about te27's, just that flares are more common on those cars. these tires with white walls. can they still be easily found in australia? coz those look really sweet
  11. thanks sir for the picture, looks great, so does this mean, there's no concern as to period correctness with regards to putting flares? thanks
  12. hi guys, i got a ke20 2 door project, and have been saving up reference pictures for quite a while now i've always fancied bolt on flares and how sweet they look on ke25's and te27's here's the dilemma, ive been thinking of putting a set of bolt on flares on my ke20, from the images that ive acquired online, its very rare that flares are put on ke20's, the ke20's on old toyota brochures are never with them, and here in the philippines, this type of corolla is very rare, and i haven't spoken to anyone here who could give a straight up advice on whether or not i should push through with it i hope someone here could enlighten me, or could post images of their ke20's with bolt on flares thanks rollaclub, i appreciate it
