Back onto the rocker shaft.

Hey guys just went an got a regrind on my cam for my 3tc an they had to lengthen my rocker arms so i pulled them off the shafts thinking how hard can it be? Well now its all home an I am lost i'm not sure which rockers go on which side an which side the springs go on so if there is any tricks or some knowledge that anyone can lend help will be much appreciated! Thanks, James

Hey was having trouble putting my rocker arm assembly together was wondering if anyone has ever done it or has a good technique on how to the motor is the 1.8 3tc. Thanks ahead of time for those who respond.

Hey is that water port in the middle of the 3tc intake manifold a water choke or somthing else? Thanks for the help guys.

Haha no not a bong lantern deal but uhh you were saying you did your turbo setup cheap did you got efi or stay carb an i read the forum did he say the sr20 exhaust manifold fit with little fileing was confusing haha.

Need EGR port plugs on their way anyone know where i can get the water neck (only) with out all the EGR stuff. I seen the Egr cover but that just goes over the EGR holes right?

You saying 110 WHP with the setup i have going? If that'll be great from the whoppin was 65-70 horses stock 3tc's have. Plus its gonna be my daily driver anyone know what Valve Springs i should use with the 283 cam? Heres a little picture of what the heads looking like so far still getting that intake manifold built for my quads.

Hey my name is James I'm 18 an from WA state an i have a newly acquired blue 1980 TE72 2 door with the quad round headlights it currently has the 3TC engine in it, Well to the point I so far have a 283 reground cam Header ported polished head/exhaust manifold/intake manifold an in the process of getting my Quad Mikuni motorcycle carbs going. Would like to avoid going with boost as things get very expensive an I am building this paycheck to paycheck an it will be my dailey driver/Honda eater. Was just wondering if someone could let me know where i should go next to get abouts 150 pony's at the wheels an have a little snort at the gas pedal when it is pushed through the floor board would like to pre-thank everyone who has something to say. Then anyone have a good idea of some cheper pistons i can use with my rods to up my compression for street use?

Oh an i hear the compression ratio will be 6:1 is that to low for the street an will it be a significant source of power or a waste of time thanks again.

From what i hear mazda b2200 pistons will go onto 3tc rods with little to no customization can someone please verify an are they any bigger then 3tc stock pistons? Thanks guys, James V.

Hey I'm trying to pull the cam out of my 3tc i pulled the push rods fuel pump dizzy an the timeing chain an gear an all the bolts going to it an still wont come out any tricks?

Thanks alot Towe for all your help so far i have never done a turbo car I'm mechanically inclined just never done a turbo setup i have 1 moer question if u don't mind answering if i was gonna use a turbo instead of supercharger would i set it up the same way i would the supercharger where the turbo sucks from the bottom of the carb?

OK i have a 3Tc with a 2 barrel carb can u use a normal weber non side draft for a draw-through setup do i just mount the carb on the inlet of the turbo? an how do i start it since the carb is no longer on the manifold? sorry just confused.

Another thing that has me puzzled is how do you start it when its turned off because the carb is so far from the manifold? an does this setup work the same with a turbo carb on the inlet?

ok so does that supercharged setup w/o the intercooler work the same with a turbo carb on the inlet intake on the outlet an do i have to use fuel enrichment of some sort of am i good with just a 2 barrel carby

Ive been looking but still somewhat confused so i build a carb box seal it off turbo before the carb or after? an do i have to use some sort of fuel enrichment with draw through? thanks, James
