  1. Hey Guys, Need some help with my build,

    1) Whats the main noticable difference between the flat and slant windscreen wiper panel?

    2) I bought some chrome bumpers (Item number: 140491456115) on EGay and as you know the don't come with brackets, would I have to custom fab some new 1's or is there brackets off some model corolla that fit? I got a Rear corona xt130 bracket that could fit but it goes into the chassis wrong, It goes in vertically when Its supposed to be horizontally.

    3) Does anyone have a guide or give me some easy steps on how to strip my door so its ready for paint, all I want gone is door handles and the chrome strip just below the window.

    Thats all for now.

    All info is much appreciated

    Cheers

  2. Hey Mate

Not a bad start, ke70 registered for $600

I'm in the same boat as you, got mine for $500, 3 months rego

Just work through the process of bringing back to its youth, don't rush anything and whenever you need help just come here and have a look/ask around.

The car is as basic as they come so try do as much labour as you can when fixing stuff.

    Goodluck

  4. Hey Fellas

Just was curious what Bumpers actually fit the Ke70

    I know the Te72 and T18 but I'm not paying $600 for that :D

So tomorrow I'm going to pick up some Chrome bumpers off a xt130 Wagon and see how that goes.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to Cut there Brackets off and weld the orginal ones on

I will post some pics to show :)

    Cheers

  5. soooo today was fitting my new wheels

and bam! the front wheels touch the struts!!

I had a feeling the would happen

Can you please help me with a solution.

If already come up with a couple of solutions and would like your opinions

Wheels size : 205/60/R15 didnt have offset stamp so measured it 120mm

    1)Spacers - But illegal in Wa :(

2)Flipping the rims - Not to sure if it would work,if I do I'm going to have to chop the wheel archers. But I don't mind i got arch flares

3)Changing the Camber - Would need someone to walk me through the process.

4)Changing the Tyres - NOOO , to much of $$$$

5)Strut coversion - Need more info

  6. Hey Guys

    Need some good advice,

My Ke70's wheels are protruding out the guards, I have bought some wheel arch flares and before installing them I want some info on rolling my guards or Arch flares.

How much extra mm will I get by rolling my guards? and wats happens to the little bog thats there?

Are Arch flares legal? and whats the best way of installing them?

    All info is appreciated

    Cheers
