Yeah if the weather holds up tomorrow I'll be painting it gloss. The hubcaps look pretty horn and I'm glad Even suggested it.

Yeah doors I'm not too fussed, but the boot I had no idea. The boot lock was already out so I assume the gold tab isn't about anywhere. Don't have a spare sitting about do you?

Hey, guys. Bought some new door and boot locks for the 55 but upon inspection I really can't figure it out. Original boot is out but I figure I can probably reverse engineer the doors.
Anyway problem: How does the boot lock fit in place and secure? Is there a guide about somewhere?

Minor bump:
Cheep chinese DVD head unit with a clip on mirror 10.1" screen. All works well, headunit plays CD cards, USB, Bluetooth, CD, DVD all really well but the sound coming from the tuner is shit. -shrugs- it does the job.
Screen is great, headunit not os much, was a present from dad so I'll have to wait a while to replace it.
Still waiting on the panelbeater to get back to me. Might give him a call tomorrow.
Until then, ideas? Things that I really should do?

I didn't say this but the whitewalls do look sick (from afar, repaint with less cracks kthx). Hubcaps look cash as especially with the red.
Needs more Klaxon.

Not that rough on cold start, though it doesn't get cold up here. after a freeway run it is very rough. Tightened manifold bolts and changed points and it has stopped stalling, though it is running very rough. New leads next, if that doesn't fix it then I will chuck on twin SU's I have or maybe just one.
I changed my leads, didn't do much other than a bit of a power kick, still runs rough.
I know of a guaranteed fix, it goes by the name of 5K.
Hoping my diff, trans and motor will hold up for another 6 months or so (Can't imagine it not) But yeah, it is right strange.
Edit: Have you tried turning the radio up?

I'm having almost the exact same problem. Do you find it runs like shit in the cold and stalls at stop especially after freeway running?

I thought your exhaust sounded like shit after healesville. I guess we bid a fond farewell for a marvelous death in the name of lol's and entertainment. Worth it I'd say. Damned surprised that it blew out with such force.

Was just figuring them out. Don't really plan on doing them, would just prefer to know how to do them... So I had do to them a few times while you were stuck behind some muppet.

for 5x7's? Hertz. BA Chooktins run 5x7's if you want to be ultra cheep but my Hertz speakers require very little elbow grease to put in. (except some effort with a pair of tin snips.)
