  1. ahk thats awesome thanks for the info, i didnt even think about that, and yeah its used to acl 2 piecers, will have a good look at it on the weekend and grab one of those gaskets. you don't know of any extractors floating around being the k series wizz in tassie? haha
  2. my 4k in my ke70 keeps f@$king these since the twin 40mm solexs were fitted, My theory is due to it having a stock exhaust and exhaust manifold is that its getting all this air and fuel in so quickly but it can;t get it out, causing extreme heat and pressure, there for blowing out the weakest link. Am i just full of shit or could i be correct. Also to fix this problem i have considered putting extractors and a 2 inch exhaust system on it, Do you think this will solve my problem? also where can i purchase extractors for these from at a resonable price cheers josh
  3. I'm chasing a set of extractors for my 4k ke70, cheers also if anyone has a white right front guard and beaver panel (panel that goes behind the bumper) and all that i'd be keen on those, cheers Josh
  4. well i have had a hilux diff sitting in my carport for a while, its going to have all the mounts welded onto it this weekend for ke70/ae86, so it'll be a good bolt in for someone looking for an upgrade, is a 4.3 ratio open centre (will lock it if required) will be looking for $600 ono
  5. yeah nah is a carby, was just the best way of explaining it, I ordered a weber adapter plate today and have a 32/26 dfav weber ready to go on, so that'll fix it hopefully
  6. Hey, I have a 2sc rona, when mucking around in it I can chuck it through a left hander fine no dramas but when i do the same into a right hander the car cuts out badly like a lack of petrol in the tank in an efi car, I know this isn;t my problem as it doesn;t change even on a full tank of petrol, Is there any way around this bar going to a weber (have on good authority that fixes things) but would prefer not to waste the money on a shitter. Any tips would be muchly appreciated.
  7. haha spot on about the spacer, bought a new fuel pump today and it came with the spacer and gaskets, i haven't had much experience with k engines and didn't realise they had one until then, all fixed now thought and thanks for the help
