Hi, i'm mulling over an engine conversion. The car I have is an 82 ke70 1,3 auto, and want something with a bit of go and a clutch pedal! I'm thinking sr20 maybe? I just want to know how hard, and what I will need to complete the conversion. I'm a mechanic by trade and am pretty handy with a spanner, so I'm well aware that it will be a ball ache to do a manual conversion etc. Thought this would be the best place to get some advice and pointed in the right direction! fitted the new steering wheel earlier and gave Bob a polish....

I will put interior pics on when ive got the steering wheel on, its totally standard cream interior, stock stereo too!

now the springs have settled (on the bump stops!), and my dice valve caps and furry dice truned up too. Got a retro wooden and chrome steering wheel, just waiting for my boss kit to turn up and my carby rebuild kit! :-)

I live in Bentleigh, the other Rolla is just a random one i saw at Southland and couldnt resist parking next to.

ha! yep! Cheap and cheerful, plus its the slowest car i've ever owned! perfect for cruising along the beach!

I bought this about a month ago, with 57k on it, full granny spec, for $600 :-) and I lowered it, sprayed the rims black, all in a mornings work!

Hi, I have just bought an 82' Ke70, its immaculate, 57k from new, an old lady owned it. i still have the original reciept for the car from 1982! I have a few questions. I am looking for some 14" wheels, preferably deep dish. I don't have a fortune to spend on the car at the moment, so just wheels and a big suspension drop for now. Are there any old toyota wheels that will fit? i.e. celica, anything like that, or does anyone have any wheels for sale?
