I guess these top speeds are only managable with an EXTREMLY LONG STRAIGHT road with some of the Hp level the poor old rollas have....

I was surfing the internet when i stumbled upon this little page. It will give you your definate top speed of your car. It's a little too-bad its in imperial but its a page worth posting none the less.

Type in your diff ratio, gearbox ratio and tire diameter (in inches) and you'll be set up with your cars top speed.
(e.g if my diff ratio was 4.11 and using a K40 gearbox in 4th with a tire diameter of 30.49 inches my final speed would be 284.793 km/h :) )
Anyway just a little knowledge.

Yeah any help from the rollaclub community on heads that bolt onto a 3K would be appreciated.

Ok, this is mainly for the junior sedan part of the site but anyway it is news worth publishing.
The DIFF Ratios for ALL junior sedans are OPEN same with GEARBOX ratios also
any HEAD bolting onto the original 3K Block without mods is now consitored LEGAL.

I've mostly got small one's but the one i do have is from jumping the neighbours fence and slipping...........onto a damn sharp steel edge and the end result was a scar on my right chin.
This was all when i was five and they had to restain me at the hospital because i was still afraid of needles. Damn dirty doctor :thumbsup:

Its Possible but the KE30 came with the Banjo (japanesse) diff. Whereas the KE70s came with borg warner.
I think the 30's gear ratio is 4.11 and the 70s is either a 4.11 or 3.9.
With all he tinkering you'd have to be doing a simple visit to the wreckers with $40 in your hand for a KE70 diff would be easier.

I'd go for the custom in-the-spare-wheel-space tank if it was for the right price.........you'd have to look how many litres you want your tank to carry as well.

Pretty much,
have a look under your (lowered prob)55 and see how much room is their....pretty much nothing.
I really doubt if you'll get a stock tank underthere with no body adjustments.

Having a look at the our '55 rally car out the back...... i think the only way ur gonna fit it under the car is by removing or placing it where the spare tire is.........unless you get it custom fitted

The problem with these old KE30's and KE55's are the rear end with Leaf Springs otherwise they are a well rounded race car. Slip a 3.9 bogwarner diff into the housing and reverse a couple leafs on the back but keep the back level. It might pay to get a new set of hilux shocks on the rear end as they are more suited to lower ride height.
Just keep it simple and don't let your kid forget its only for fun. Once they think its a chore its time to pull out.
