Just a blunt question, Sorry if it has already been asked but every thread and forum I have researched hasn't givin' me any help, But would a stock R31 Skyline Diff and Gearbox suit/fit a 16v 4AGE in a KE70? Cheers... :)

Nothing is set in stone yet, But I have been checking out a 2JZ, They're relitavly cheap and have have plenty of grunt when you give em' a kick in the guts, The power to weight ratio would be almost deadly I would think, But the question is, is what mods would I have to do to the engine bay to make it fit? :/

I've been researching everything, Engines especially, I have also been checking out hundreds of posts on forums, But as I am new to this I have taken everything into consideration, I am still learning day by day, And I DO plan to finish this! :) I'm not that worried about the conversion because it will probably only cost me a carton of beer, But I am trying to find the right parts to suit and making sure they'll fit!.....And as for modifications/fabricating, I don't plan on any of that yet unless it is absolutly nessesary, cause as I said I only want a little slider shit and gigs, I'll start thinking about mods when the time comes and I want to upgrade etc etc. haha

Any recomendations on what to get and where to find cheap new or used parts etc etc?

The only problem with that is then I have to find one that has a descent working engine (Big f@$k around) :(

Hey all I have recently bought myself a lil' old KE70, It's a little rough around the edges but it's only a project car that I want to play around with for some sliding. Anyway I am new to the whole 'project car' phase and really should be doing a bit more research than what I am currently doing, I am a bit of a noob but i'd like to think I know my way around a car, I have got the cosmetic side of things under control but what my real problem is, is trying to choose the right engine for the job. I didn't really want to get a 4AGE because everyone has one and I want mine to stand out a lil', But seeing how I am trying to keep as much cash in my pocket as I can I have no choice, I've researched them and was mind blown with the amount of options and I honeslty can not be f@$ked reading them all and choosing which one would suit me best and so I might put the word out there and get some helpful hints from people who might have the same experience.....I'm on a budget but I can raise my limit, So I want a nice clean feeling/looking slider, So what 4AGE would suit me the best and will I have to replace anything like gearbox/diff anything like that?......Cheers :)
