  1. its all good, i went to u pull it today and got the rails no cutting required unless you use the ae71 style seats where the sliding lever is at the front. then cutting is needed but if you use the side style slider then they unbold easy. just for future reference if someone comes across the same problem
  2. hey mate, cheers for advice. i was thinking the same thing myself. can you post up a pic of how it turned out? my only concern about doing that is the height? did your bucket seat sit fairly high after that? also did you have to cut the rails off of the old seat? cause i know on bluebirds there rails are integrated into the chairs, they don't bolt on the way bucket seats do. both my chairs in the rolla arent here i got rid of them due there crappyness. hope you can give me some more help.
  3. ive got a recaro bucket seat to install into my ke70, wondering if anyone else has done a similar install into a ke70? how did you go about a seat rail? from what ive found AE86 seat rails are slightly to wide, by about 20mm. if someone has done a bucket seat into a ke70 please provide some info for me, as i want to know the easiest way to go about it. going with a universal rail will be a bit gay but will do it if required. just wondering if anyone has modded the AE86 seat rail? info on this would be really great. Cheers
  4. cheers guys appreciated. looking at ajps site now.
  5. hey all, I'm looking for a new sway bar for my ke70 and i know that ke70 and ae86's have the exact same floor pan but does anyone know if there sway bars are the same? for the ae86 there is a decent amount of after market support in that area, and ke70 not so much, so if i could get a ae86 and is the same size i should be pretty good. any help would be good Pete
  6. This conversation went to pajeros pretty quick. my car has been fixed. i decided earlier to put my extroadinary panel beating skills to use and thought id fix it myself. my friend is a painter and he repainted my front quarter.......a bit. hope you enjoy. i assume your all familiar with the "drift monkey"
  7. yeh i can tell you for free that whatever cash froms it is goin in my pocket. its only a thrash around. its been temporarily fixed with a drift monkey drawn on. thats about it. i have other cars that require cash rather than one that doesnt need it. drive it till it breaks, and once it breaks then fix it. too hard otherwise. my other rolla is the main one i care about.
  8. lol thats pretty funny didnt know it was wanker in spanish. it explains this retard i know that has an old shit pajero that thinks he is from the country but live closest to the city than anyone yeh i also thanked her for that valandor. but still i would have pulled it out with my hands if it was a drive off. but no doubt i still would have been pissed. but she was visiting a neighbour across from my house so wouldnt be hard to track her down.
  9. Nice, I'm dreaming to get a quote for 2g cause for my car it would be a write off, but i want some cash and i wont even worry about fixing it, i bought the car for a whole 700. i now know why i bought it aswell, cause wen people hit it i don't tend to care aslong as they pay. makes my pocket fatter.
  10. yeh its not bad at all. i just put my hands under the guard and pulled that puppy out. it does love it. the pajero will be the main cost i reckon cause she screwed up her bumper.
  11. didnt get to bed lastnight until about 4am just doing the usual chilling as uni holidays are on. and this morning i get a knock on the door and someone has hit my car. i originally thought it was a joke as i have heard it before as my paddock basher ke70 doesnt have the best of good looks. and i went outside and it was actual hit and the lady that hit it was just standing there giving me her details. she was in new pajero. so theres some free cash for me :) ive been looking for an excuse to buy a new car. its bit of a fairy tap.
  12. hey man. sorry i don't mean to be rude or anything and forgive me if i misinterperate what you said, found it hard to understand some of what you said. you said you were looking for a diff to put your axles in? i believe from what i read is that you are trying to find a decent diff to put in your corolla, is that correct? I'm not sure how youd exactly go about finding out what axles your car has unless you pull them out. but if you are looking for a diff conversion youll need to see how your current rolla mounts up and take a look at the diff your wanting to buy and put in. since your in sweden you may be better off getting a strong diff over there cut up and made to fit a rolla, as in the end when something breaks in it, you can replace easily rather than hunt for old toyota parts. i hope that helped. Pete
  13. thanks. i do have one I'm just being lazy as usual. and plus my dad has my newest one that he got me for christmas he is holding off on me although i should get it tonight. I'm about to go to pirtek and get them to make up my clutch line for me. correction i was redirected to clutch and brake services at south glenelg
  14. yeh i just changed my studs the other day i needed to run nissan threads on my hubs. i went to auto pro to buy them. if you go to www.niceproducts.com.au youll find everything you need. like the interference fit that your current stud has and length etc. then you just look for one that matches or is fairly close but obviously longer in your case. if you go to sprints or auto pro or somewhere like that you can even look in there book. and to put the new studs on, you don't need to bash them on with a metal block and hammer. you just get some wheel nuts and tighten them on with a rattle gun, thats what i did and got those puppies on in no time with minimum fuss. you don't need an interfernce fit which is perfect mine went up by .1mm but you don't want to go down tho youd rather a tighter fit so it don't come loose. nice products has all that you need. its pretty basic
  15. so heres the latest. ive been been fairly busy lately with uni and been away from the forums for a while. anyways ive had some shopping expeditions and spending some cash, and here is the latest. I got my borgwarner diff, has 4.11 gears, brand new LSD centre, pintara axles so i can keep the 4 stud pattern. i cleaned up the engine bay from all the grease and grime in there, intercooler is mounted. crossmember and gearbox member powder coated and sand blasted. custom front springs as I'm running a corolla top hat and the lower spring mount is corona. got the peugot discs on, i have the hilux calipers and ferodo excel brake pads but no photos at the moment. motor is in at the moment but again no photos. ill get them up soon. i changed the front studs aswell so i can run bluebird rims on it which i picked up a set of 5 for 60 bucks no tires but good condition. the current crap I'm waiting on is my GT3040 turbo. I'm getting the external gate off the exhaust housing thanks to 6boost. its a tial 45mm waste gate. and i have the haltech E6X computer. can't think of anything more at the moment but will update if need be.
