SLY-20V

hey everybody i have ae102 with a 4age 20v silvertop and the clutch has let go. it has a standard 7afe gearbox in it and I'm unsure if the normal 7afe clutch will fit or try and find out what the part number is for the extreme performance clutch. it is currently sitting in a shed waiting to be fixed. any help will be great guy cheers

new pics are finishing it changing clolour like 100 times then it on the day then the after math of the derby. a mate thought hed reverse form the other side of the ring and hit me that was one hit on the front bent the ʞ©$ɟ out of the hole front end ended up over heating cutting out. started up after the derby limiter banged the ʇ~~ɔ out of the ring till were i parked it!

just an update added another colour and changed the number, lot of work coming in the next few weeks, getting my intrusion bars cut to length and the metal plate protecting the drivers cut down to size :)

the red looks really good mate, gl with the rest of your build! can't wait to see the plenum for your trumpets i want them for mine but theres that annoying thing called then air flow metre etc and i don't know how to bypass it.

hey everyone i have a ae101 with 4age 20v silvertop conversion, but only recently have been having problems with the power steering. my mate wich is a auto apprentice said it has the 7afe power steering pump on it and its not pumping enough fluid around. i went to see bbt jap spares in newcastle cause thats the closest jap/import place close to me. they said i need to find out if i need the 100kw power steering pump or a different one. any help will be great. cheers jake.

and yeah my 20v does backfire to, i back it off and just touch the throttle and starts to backfire, sounds good tho lol

looks good mate, i have a ae101 with the 20v silvertop. best fwd ive ever driven. my question is. how hard is it to relocate the battery to the boot? like does it cost a heap? or could you do it with your more mechanically minded mates? ive been wanting to cold air induct my thing for a while

Haha thanks mate. Yeah Iam I'm gonna have a lil camera mounted on my helmet and gonna have numerous people filming it from the side line. Gonna keep updating this with pics of what I've done to it then when it's crunch time upload pics of it crushed lol

ok so i dunno how to add writing to the pics to the pics in order are, when i picked it up from taree, then when i finally got the busted headlights and parkers out, took the side windows and door skins off, testing the blue paint to see how it came out, interior stripped, how it sat at the end of the week after picking it up on anzac day, added a littlejdm spark to it, front end, but number is gonna be 499, how it sist today - the exhaust

hey everyone i thought id throw up my build thread of my derby car corolla for shits and giggles. and cause I'm bored. well heres the story i purchased it for $70 as cause it was a stat write off and could never be driven on the road again. so me and the old went and picked it up didnt know what to expect cause it had been in a t-bone. but i found out it t boned another car. and only got a bent chassis cause of it. atm i have taken all interior parts out windows door skins consoles, plastics the lot. welded the drivers door shut. and welded the mesh on front drivers side, and drivers side window. all i gotta do now is get a 20ltr fuel tank and connect that with the fuel lines run the battery lines through the fire wall, and bolt in the support bars for the driver. i know there will be alot of people dissing this cause its not a sick ke20 with conversion and shit but hey its a site yu can do nearly what you want.

i got a 4age in my ae101, it redlines at 8,500rpm, and from my experience from being passenger and occasianly driving mates 4afe's the 4age pulls harder to me but thats just my opinion everybody has theirs..

Hey all I got a 20v silver top in my ae101 it goes great but latley its got a flat spot between 2,500rpm-4000rpm. Any suggestions whats.causing it? And its been idleing at 2000rpm when it use to.idle at about 1000 rpm any suggestions on whats causing these issues?

Yeah I was wondering wether to go with 7age but I thought ʞ©$ɟ it the 20v silver top is just a bolt straight in and get It wired up bit didn't get it tuned. Still tuned to the drift tune heaps better up top but shit down low. Yeah I've been searching for ages. I'm not far from newy should meet up sometime and check each others rides out love your front bar the stock Ones just don't do it for me but it's rare to get decent body kit for the hatches unless you get a half cut from Japan with the rear bar with it but that's too costly.

Looks good mate it's the first of the ae101/102 rollas I've seen on here except my hatch. Should look into gettin a 20v silver top and puttin it in. My goes hard! Where'd you get the headlights and bucket seats from have been looking for them for mine for ages and haven't been able to find any yet. Love the stance of these after they've been lowered. when i get the right suspenion set up and a tune, running bit shit atm, i wanna take it to a track day and drag day to see what it goes like already flogs v6 commos excels most N/A subarus ive come across, civics etc people just think its a stock standard corolla

heres my ae101 corolla. i brought the car with the 4age 20v silvertop already in it. when i got this it had the following. green&black stripes, body kit, ugly chromies, and stupid number plates. since then i too the stripes off. put the stock bumpers back on, put 14" alloys on and got new number plates. my future plans are to lower it all around get a nice set of black 16s. its just my daily atm and any positive feedback would be great to point me in the right direction.
