  1. Looks like you've got alot to learn in life. What's he doing wrong??
  2. Go post your shit somewhere else. Nobody said he's going to race on a track with people on it. It was a harmless joke. On the other hand, Quinn this is actually quite inspiring, can't wait to see how it goes!
  3. I know it's a long shot, but if you have tried everything else and still can't find the cause, try knocking out a welsh plug and checking inside the block. Generally when cars sit around for a long time with shit coolant/water in them they block up water galleries etc.
  4. Hi guys, recently bought an unfinished project ke55 that has a 4k and 5 speed in it, but has nothing connected, and was originally a 4 speed. I'm just wondering what is interchangeable from the 4-5 speeds and what is different. So would the clutch/pressure plate/flywheel be the same? Crossmember? Tail shaft? Clutch cable? Speedo gear? Reverse light wiring? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
  5. i can see where your coming from, hence why i decided against the idea. i had a quick think about putting in a sr20de but didnt think of the ca18. might have to look into this too thanks for that
  6. Thanks for that. Good to see someone still has a creative mind out there!
  7. Well done on Reading half a thread and posting a stupid comment. You even quoted the part where i said I wouldn't get it insured, so clearly I'm Not going to do it. Thanks rolla-Ken. Just found a couple of threads about 4age's in them so I'll have a look and see what the go is.
  8. The plan was to get it registered with the original 4k and just convert it without an engineers cert, but after thinking about it properly then i wouldn't get it insured either. What would you guys recommend for cheap power? Ive thought about a 5k with a bit of work but I intend to take it to the track and slide it every so often so I'm wondering how that would go? Any help would be appreciated! Cheers
  9. Because Vn motors are cheap and make easy power lol And I've seen it done before so that's what made me lean towards the v6 over a jap 4cyl.
  10. Hey guys, I'm new to the corolla scene as I just purchased a cheap ke55e sedan that I'm currently building up and I'm wanting to put a Vn v6 in it for a but of fun :) Just wondering how many people on here have got commodore v6's in there ke's that I can have a look at for some inspiration. Cheers guys. Tony
