After I owned it for not long, I decided that 20 year old suspension was crap, so I won some super lows on ebay cheap as, So in they went, n it looked like this.
Decided some rims where needed, again, ended up grabbing these cheap as 13x6 +10
And then with a scrub
First test fit, With a 205 tyre, they sat flush, was what I wanted so I was happy.
Then I decided, " Need more low!! " So I cut a couple springs out of the front, the rear was 'sagging' so I didnt worry about it
Drove it like this for ages, Just adding little things and maintain here and there,
Had these in my track car many years ago, lost my steering wheel, took around 2 years, it was in the bottom of a box after we moved but finally found it, was super happy, ordered a boss kit and BAM, into the rolls it goes!! Had the 'Dildo' shifter there, Toyota thread so in it went as well.
I thought Some extra air flow would be the go here
Went and sold the 'brake cooker' rims and bought some 17's for daily duties, turns out they where farked, so never made it on the car, just a test fit, they looked ok, something like 17x7 ish.
Decided I should do something with the falling apart exhaust, So chopped it at the end of the front pipe and ran it back from there with 2 inch straight thru, was reasonabley loud, but got some nice power increase I would say.
Also while there, touched up some rust and tinted the tail lights.
Then added my stickers, cause there Hectik ( The 'I hate my Ex one is the Favourite' ) ;)
Another exhaust shot, rocking on the angles for added 'Street credit'
Bought a detachable Boss then why ? Because Racecar !! The look on peoples faces is always priceless!!
Then things Started to get real, I was chasing coils for ages, decided to get the 2nd had from Japan, got them cheap as again, So while I waited I needed to find some rims to help, these came up, In a flash they where mine, 13x7 neg 20 ish Offset, Big dish Steelies, Fitted them, looked like this....
Drove from a mates place with them on back to mine, unfortunately to much travel/ not stiff enough springs/shocks meant they came off straight away, So the wait began, 6 weeks to get my coils from Japan, after I nearly forgot about them, these showed up on my door.
We where unsure when we bidded what they where, Trd ? Or Cusco ? No stamping on them, either way, they have HKS Springs and are quite stiff, got them in no hassles at all. Left the height as it was and away I went. Unfortunately again, I lost my license for a month, So couldnt drive it, So this happened....
Thats pretty much where its at at the moment. Its been painted, It was just a spray can job, but it will do the trick for now, this was only ever going to be a budget build, I will contine to update as I go, This was the inspiration behind it all....
Cheers Brownie
