Scene has pretty much died last few years, who's still around, whos rollin in KE1#s and KE2#s?
Lets organise a meet up or something.
Facebook has pretty much taken over a lot but seeing if I can reach out to those still lurking the forums.
-
lots of parts still available
-
You can get Taiwanese reproduction guards but they don't fit properly.
You will not be able to get new panels from Toyota.
Best bet is rust repair with a good section.
-
many parts still available
-
you can buy a koyorad TE27 one if ur after something flashy.
I had a KE20 with an aftermarket radiator in that looked physically different to the standard one, had more squarish end tanks but was same dimensions. Not sure of brand.
Currently I have two KE20s running KE30 radiators, no clearance issues, just had to drill alternative holes in the radiator mounts. Fit is factory looking. May be an option?

Thats a decent number man! Good work! Knew I should of went Wednesday night!
-
awesome read thanks for sharing!
-
id say 4kg front springs would be ideal, ke25 front end is lightweight compared to other cars. I run 6kg in my AE86 with shocks on soft and its still very stiff.
-
if I'm not mistaken I seen this driving up Rookwood rd Bankstown area this morning?
-
Sold this thing last November man. Miss it, was a good car. :(
-

-
yea still around Matt, few guys still representing the corolla scene in SA but not like how it was at one stage.
-
only the guards, door frame is lower on KE25.
can fit KE20/26 doors by modifying the window frame, ive done it, bit of pain to do right but can be done
-
can anyone shed some light on the vacuum setup on KE70 4K Aisan carbs.
and how to keep the vacuum operated secondary working when installed in earlier Corolla's without all the anti pollution gear everywhere.
-
RODTECH no question about it!
-
