Just an update. Decided to get a KE70 crossmember, rack and pinion and column. I know that I will have to shorten crossmember by about 20mm on each side and redrill mounting holes. can't say anything else at the moment as I am waiting on the other parts. Will update then.

Hi, I understand that the KP61 Starlet rack etc is a popular choice for upgrading the steering in a KE10. Would the steering rack from a KE70/AE71 be a possible fit? with some mods? Or are there any other racks that may be a possibility? I plan to keep the factory column but upgrade to a rack. Are there any problems with this way of thinking? Any advice helps. Cheers

Thanks for the reply altezza. My KE10 is for street. I'm running a 7ke turbo. Car is not on road yet, still have to get rear end sorted but will have shortened hilux diff and whatever discs I can get on them. However, front discs a from a KE55. Area of front and rear calipers?? I'm not real good with maths.lol. I was looking at buying a Wilwood master with a 7/8 bore. Will this suffice?

Hi All, Whats the factory master cylinder bore size on a 69 KE10? I'm converting my 10 to four wheel discs with a dual diaphragm booster. I would just like to know which bore size master cylinder would be best to buy? Cheers

Hi All, Would anybody have a picture of a KE10 clutch pedal thats in the car? Also, a rough measurment from clutch pedal shaft to centre of gearbox tunnel? I'm currently fabricating a new tunnel and wont have my clutch pedal assembly for a few weeks. I need this to see how big the bellhousing part of the tunnel can go. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers👍

Hi, Ive been building my 69 KE10 and am converting it to manual. I'm finding it difficult to find a clutch pedal assembly. Does a KE20/30/55/70 fit? Any help with this conversion is appreciated. Cheers.
