Haven't check the timing so I'll get on that

Without it being hook up the the dizzy I should still be getting spark from my coil lead shouldn't i ??

Brand new coil brand new balas and still no spark from coil lead

My points are set 0.45mm from the biggest edge of the rotor button shaft

I've unhooked the dizzy to the coil all together I tried to get spark just from the coil and still nothing

Just hook up the multimeter and I'm getting 12.3v so I'm getting full power I haven't replaced the condenser yet it the dizzy I'll go to the shops now and get a new one

So the the little red one goes to the +ve a swell, Last night I tyred to see if I was getting spark agian and I was this time just a tiny little one think it's lacking power

I think the red thicker wire is my igintion wire not sure on the black one or the black and white one

That blue wire is the wire that runs to the dizzy

I am now getting power to the coil !! But as soon as I connect the dizzy wire to the coil it stops the power out put from the coil ??? Why is this

I had a mate check it over last night he said that the fuel shutoff is fine and he thinks the dizzy is buggered ! But yea is the a diagram to how the coil should be wired up ??

Is that the white fuse next to the coil ?? Because of it is that's fine ! Seem to be a prick this motor lol

We'll today I brought new point and still nothing I replaced the coil agian still nothing but this time I'm not getting spark from the coil ??? And the power wire from the coil to the dizzy melted so I have tried anything else yet don't wanna start a fire lol Anyone know a solution ??

Yea I checked the fuel pump yesterday that's working fine it's getting to the carby great I'm just about to go buy points so I'll come home and put the new ones in see if that works if not I'll retime the motor, that's heaps guy cheers

Hey guy I'm new to the corolla seen !! I have just brought a ke70 not running, The last owner said he was just driving along then it died an he could never get it started agian, I have checked and it's getting spark and it wining over just not starting last owner replace the coil and leads and spark plugs but still didn't work, I'll be replacing the points and dizzy in the next couple of days. Is there anything else it could be other then these things ?? Yes the car does have petrol as we'll lol so yea cheers any help will be great thanks
