That's the thing a decent running one ishard to find at a good price before someone else snatches up the good deal ! I love my ke55i just want it back on the road now, very impatient as its been of the road for 6 months :(

Hey guys ive been reading through all the forums loking at all your engine swaps, I love my ke55 but the motor has shat it self bent 2 rods and snapped 1 would It be better to rebuild the top end and where do I get the parts if so ? Also would it be better to replace the motor if so what is the best and cheapest ? TIA

So I wrote this to save me from posting many topics . I'm a young car enthusiast , I've recently bought my ke55 , just put a 5 speed box in it and done little bits of work. But now I'm abit stuck and o need a few answers ! There's a ticking noise going on sounds like it's coming from the engine ? I have no idea what it is .. Need help bad as I'm abit worried. What's the best way to fix tail lights as mine are all faded and went clear practically so you can't distinguish between the break and blinkers. What's the best way to go about that ? Do new leads and spark plugs add much performance or up and go ? And what would the best thing to do to my engine to give it that extra grunt of the line ?? What's the best way too lower my car ? As its leaf In the back and coil in the front . ? Best exhaust to run ? I've got a sporty exhaust on now but in all honesty it sounds like a sloppy wet fart ..

I want to lower my ke55 too a tidy height, what's the best way of doing it ?

How bad will that ticking noise effect the way it drives ?

Also the engine has like a ticking sort of noise.. Any ideas what that would be ?

Okay so ive done general looking after dutys . Like services , oil changed all that what not, I've bought replacement leads and plugs. Air filter is brand new, I always take the head of and clean it . Everything's A+ condition it only have 135000 KS on it. I have abit of money too spend just all depends on what performance I'll get will depend on how much I spend Cheers guys for all your responses !

So i own a 1980 Ke55 I'm just wondering if there was any little things or even bigger things that i can do to my motor to give it that little bit of extra grunt. I;m willing to spend $$ i just want to see if i can give it that bit more power ! anything would be appreicated. The motor is completely stock at the moment. :wave:
