    4age Turbo

Id go for the T28 BB of an S15, they are great turbos and cheap too if you can find a low klm one that hasnt taken a thrashing.
  2. Thanks guys, i reckon i would of smacked myself knowing me, might get my pinch bar out and lever it off.
  3. So yeah, how does it come off? Ive taken out the middle nut, what else is there that makes this thing come off? KE70 to btw.
  4. There you go, you learn something new everyday. So all i gotta do is take of the gearbox to get to the clutch?
  5. You can still come round and take a look at my beast, and bring over your 1G beast, I'm thinkin of doing that conversion!! Anyway the wiring on the coil was round the wrong way (none of it was done wrong by me, bought it like that), positive wire was on neg visa versa. The little black wire that goes to the BR was meant to be running to the + not the -.... and after that we got spark so i was like "yeah we gettin this thing running now", and then all it was, was getting it to TDC on compression and setting the dizzy right which only took 2 go's and its running pretty good, probably just need to move the dizzy cap a little cause it splutters every now and then, but other than that shes sweet. It went bang to went it first fired from when i flooded it, f@$k it was loud. But can't take it for a drive cause the clutch is rooted, anyone got a gearbox i can have with a good clutch in it?
  6. Yeah thanks man, shes all sorted, wiring was all wrong and the timing was out.
  7. Yeah yeah ma bitches got it running. Now all i need is a new clutch cause the one in it is rooted.
  8. Yeah but does it go 1-3-4-2 clockwise on the dizzy?
  9. Yes i got told that it needs to be at TDC and for the rotor to be facing piston number one or the point in the dizzy cap. And i found out why there was no spark coming from the lead, the black wire that bolts onto the dizzy was bolted onto the chassis and should be bolted onto the negative side on the coil. And also which order do the plug leads go on top of the dizzy?
  10. Yes i have tried that and there was no spark coming from coil lead or spark plug or the head bolt. I'm on the Gold Coast in Carrara, 0421479070 if your keen on dropping round :'(
  11. Ok, so i replaced the dizzy the smorning, still the same problem, although when i put the other one in it made a different sound when i tried to crank it over like it was about to spark or something. So now I'm a bit stumped as to what it could be, brand new coil and now dizzy (not brand new). could it be the spark plug leads to the dizzy ya reckon?
  12. I found out ive got a rooted clutch or it just needs adjusting because it isnt disengaging. I'm about to go out the smorning and check to see if the dizzy is alright if it isnt i got another spare here and hopefully that one is ok and ill replace it.
  13. Mates neighbour is a RACQ Mechanic, he reckons its the Dizzy aswell, so when i get it tonight ill have a geezer, its most probably the dizzy aye. Anybody know where i can get a dizzy from if its the problem?
  14. Thanks for all your help fellas much appreciated, i will check all that tonight when i pick it up, thanks again.
  15. Hey fellas, just trying to figure out what the problem is with this 4k-c not sparking. It cranks over and everything but just doesnt spark, it has new spark plugs, new coil, new battery just wont fire. Old mate I'm buying it off thinks it could be an earthing problem, just wondering if anyone has come across the same problem?
