  1. ok once again long time no post, after about a month or so without my beloved computer i had to wait to post up my updates, although it isnt much of an update. please take note that i am currently unemployed and very, very, very tight on budget. :D so cheap alternative routes were taken. ok in the period of 1 month i had removed my eyelids after being told off by the cops, funny thing is he was the same coppa that told me to remove them 2 months or so b4, lol the guy musnt have remembered me so i deceded to rid of them anyway i think it looks much better without now :D re-furbished my front grille slightly by bringing back the chrome toyota instead of it being black, haha this is a funny one me and my dad made a red gear boot that actually turned out pretty well for soft plastic stuff lol, tuned my idle and adjusted my throttle posision sensor although it idle rough, it doesnt hunt the idle while rolling in neutral towards the lights for example, not sure if this is what cured it but i chucked in some wynn's TUNE-UP engine oil formula which seems to have made the car rev a little more free-er and brought down the noisy lifters and tapets or watever, so then i removed the rediculously heavy intake pipe i had hanging there and just put the pod directly onto the intake manifold for now (noticed an increase in induction noise which made me happy :)) found a peice of 4.5 inch (i think, its pretty big) plastic tubing and found a way to tuck it in around and under the massive battery i have leading down to just under the lip where it sits nicely mounted on some bracket out of sight for the guys in blue. id say it has had some effect blocking most of the radiator fans hot air blowing into the pod, i dogily painted my rocker covers to a metallic silver and removed my cam cover in the process to spray that too but now i can't put it back on lol oh well s##t happens i like it so far. and now to the more interesting part of this extremely long update, i had purchased some new wheels after my last dilema with wheels. got home thinking once again high spirited, from there i rushed over to the tyre shop to get some brand spankin new rubber on em potenza g3's mind you not very easy on the pocket but afterwards was very pleased with thier performance, http://img471.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img0425editxz8.jpg so.. after hours waiting under the damn burning sun they finnaly finished all thier jobs and fitted my tyres, i paid up and started to drive off wen i noticed that there was a major clonk coming from the rear of the car, took it for a quick drive up the street only to find smoke pissing out of my rear tyres so i pulled over knowing that my day wasnt goin to be so high spirited after all, i looked under the car and watnot to find out the cause of the clonking and found that the tyre was rubbing up against the shockie and i thought ok that must be because they put the front orientated tyres on the rear, ( potenza g3 tyres come with a extended type of lip on the sidewalls that sticks out about 1-1.5cm more than an average tyre sidewall) take note i had potenza g3s on the front and got federals 535 or sumthing on the tyres sitting in the garage theyre the same pattern as potenza. anyway, "The Potenza GIII is a high-performance sports tyre that offers class-leading manoeuvrability in both wet and dry conditions. With its unidirectional tread pattern and formula-one inspired sidewall design, the GIII has the looks to match its performance." and a picture of what the car looked like with the rims: SO.. after this i took it back immediately and demanded they swap over fronts to rears and vice versa, instead they got me to do it myself! ofcourse me being an idiot, i did it. so thinking i had fixed the problem i started heading home after being at the tire shop for about 4 hours and noticed a light scrubbing on what appeard to be my front tyres, although this wasnt true it was the back tyres again, got home took the tyres off to see that they still scrubed on the strut. see below pic: http://img442.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img0432tm4.jpg so after this i immediatly thought of spacers, 8mm wouldve been plenty to clear it, BUT! needed longer studs... so went to repco found longer studs ordered them got home. didnt f**king fit went back obtaind another set, once again didnt fit, tried once more with no luck, so tyres then went up for sale here and there 1 person is interested so far, so then hunting on ebay came across some 4x100 20mm BOLT on spacers, after winning the bid on $1 for about 5 days some guy comes along in the last 20 minits and raises em so i raisd them then he raised em and another guy came along and raised em by this time they were at $57 which was an absolute bargain for a set of four, 30 seconds before it ended i put the max bid onto 75 and of course i refreshed the page on 10 seconds to see i was outbid so i rushed to bid higher but my computer decided it was gonna be a piece of s**t and take its time, ended up getting the bid intime but the guy put an extra 10 bux ontop of my max bid so i lost. which i can't complain because thats how ebay works, but i didnt acknoledge that until my hissy fit was over :P  well they didnt fit so i absolutely lost it kicking a nice dent into my front quarter panel, and after i lost the bid (which 4x100 bolt ons are extremly rare to find) i just wanted to throw the computer out my window and smash everything in sight. which i lightly achieved satisfaction by shotputting my rims out into the front yard. i fixed my quarter panel easily (luckily as i regreted it) by popping it out from behind the wheel arch. so now i hopfully be selling my rims for $300 which is almost how much the rims cost me alone, plus just under $400 for pretty much brand new tyres. so there hasnt been much action in the past month with this car  it will be goin in for a 10000km service its due soon so ill post up another update then. well thats my update hope you enjoyed reading this life long post :D heres some more pics of the car now with two front rims and rear stockis haha i can now say ive experienced lift off! in the dry too lol its lethal i basically drifted round a sweeper of a corner lol video is of my twinky wen i was testing my idle and tps, nice sounds!
  2. id love to but I'm to young for turbo at this point, i just want to get an aftermarket ecu, a set of 264 or 272 toda cams, genie extractors and last but not least some decent rims!
  3. well the 4agze setup was sold to fund the 4agte setup lol mind you this is when my brother owned the car not me lol, and the gte pinged unexpectedly to 18psi and snap crackle pop goes the pistons, so therefore was taken to a mechanic, mechanic found an engine that was not the same as the original bluetop it had in it, we later found out it was the smallport, so affter waiting so many months for it to be finally running, it came out of the workshop running like ass. mind you still running the bluetop loom and ecu, (mechanic was too busy charging us an extra 500 bux for his own fault ordering the rong motor) and from there the smallport has been tuned to be drivable at this point, have no idea what is rong but in a race i stayed right beside a bluetop, and I'm hoping that its because the engine isnt functioning properly because of the ecu, i have planed to get a piggy back computer hoping to see if it fixes the problem, but from here weve been told that firstly, the tps is rooted, secondly, my injectors are blocked or something thirdly the ecu is incompatible and last but not least the engine is supposedly ready for a major servie. i don't have money to do all his so its gonna have to stay like this for a little while until i brew up some cash, well theres my engines life story so enjoy! and tell me if u think u no what may be rong. oh and the rims were sold, although they were nice rims they scraped to the sh*t house with 215/40/17 and sitting on superlow king springs superlows + 215/40/17 = bad idea lol
  4. hey guys this is my ride its a twincam rsi conquest originally from south africa, this series was only produced for a limited time and has therefore become very scarce around the world, it has many different factory parts compared to a typical australian corolla such as factory sideskirts black vinyl stickering between rear lights it has rear drumed brakes, instrument cluster reaches 240kph instead of the usual 200kph and is also trimmed in white instead of orange, rock hard suspension/shocks standard, factory white/grey/blue/red interior with red carpet and old style recaro fully adjustable seats that recline angle, front to back shift and also adjustable bucket seat tensioner that tightens the 2 extended waist area part of the seats to prevent body movement in seat (couldnt remember what they are called ) basically it reclines to wide or thin to suit body size. and a few extra bits and peices here and there. Mods: reconditioned JDM 100kw 7 rib 4age redtop map sensored engine, originally had blue top tvis. bluetop loom and ecu (runs fine with the redtop) full straight through 2 1/4 inch exhaust + cannon with 4 inch tip, custom air intake pipe with pod, top gun 8mm leads. standar steelies 175/70/R13 sprayed gloss black :P custom short shifter pbr heavy duty clutch mx73 cressida front lip rsi conquest badging no air-con was removed for turbo/supercharger purposes  no power steering 5 speed T-50 manual gearbox. factory trimmed interior grey red and white light touches of blue with red carpet and red seat belts. red window wipers, black vinyl between rear lights and black # plate backing (only available in S.A) cosmetically changed factory guage cluster that reads to 240kph and is trimmed in white. colour coded dash inserts (not factory) and red/silver pedals, white gear knob, 2 splitfire guages in black and chrome pods, 1 water temp other is oil pressure, 1 mounted on pillar and 1 on dash, factory recaro spec old school racing bucket seats fully adjustable, full car audio setup including sony explod mp3 head unit 4 x 54 watt, 4" front speakers, kenwood 6x9" 2 ways in parcel shelf with fusion 400watt 12" encounter sub in ported box, 300watt 2ch fusion encounter amp (bridged with sub only), fusion amplifier wiring kit with 8 guage cables, avant factory side skirts (only available in south africa), colour coded rear spoiler, gloss black resprayed bonnet (not the best job) and custom ae86 fibreglass eyelids, super low king springs fitted 1.5 yrs ago sitting nice and low also has rock hard shocks due to the rough roads in south africa, has drumed rear brakes, front strut brace and rear swaybar (standard in all S.A rsi's) and other bits and pieces. thats all i can think of atm. very quick car beats most v6 commodores and 1 tx3 turbo! also in its previous history beat a slightly tuned 180sx ca18 turbo lol shuldve seen the guys face on the loser flyby hahaha. keeps up with a nissan trx 2.4 litre which in my opinion is pretty dam good! lol Mods to come: custom quad throttle bodies, trd or hks 262/272 cams or bigport bluetop cams, pace maker extractors, aftermarket ECU, rims coming very soon probly 16's, estimated power is around 105kw at the flywheel or engine?? not sure as it hasnt been dyno'd yet.. and heres a photochop of what i want my car to look like wen i get the money to do so :bash: also dug up some old files of when it was 4agze and 4agte lol the old engine had the works lol hence why i now have the redtop in it, 4agze: heres a vid of the car when it was 4agze (caution sounds like a party poper! lol) only had a vid of it when it wasnt fully setup eg no piping, and heres all i could find of the 4agte which was pinging to 18psi! haha u should assume it went hard!: the showoff: the 4agte in action! whilst blowing blue smoke! lol: enjoy and please comment!
