  1. My 2T-B isn't running as well as it used to. It's fine upon first start up, idles OK and at speed the engine runs very well. It's after ~10 mins the idle is a little bit higher and slightly rougher, splutters a wee bit. But once again when it's rev'd it runs smoothly. Another thing I've seen is that the float level is way too high, the fuel level is at the very top of the sight glass. Initially I thought it was the floats, they were very old and porous, thought they weren't floating properly, so I replaced the floats with new ones, and the same problem occurs. I'm not really sure on how to tune the carbs, just need a mechanic to give it a once over and tune it up properly. can anyone recommend a good mechanic who knows these engines? I'm in Melbourne, Victoria. Cheers.
  2. Just wondering if there is much interest at all in these RT100 Coronas. The misses' dad has 2 of them sitting in his workshop, have been sitting there for at least 10 yrs or so. There's a bucket load of spares, at least 6 grills, countless tail lights, lenses, indicator lights, ~2-3 sets of door cards, seats, etc. I reckon there's enough there to make 1 really decent daily / project. Can't really bare to let them go to the wreckers, worth selling on or keeping as a project? Thoughts?
