  1. Patrick Auto Care, shits me too as I've dealt with them a few times when transporting cars between tassie, melbourne and adelaide with my old job. Their Sydney depot must me a joke though....
  2. Easy, flashed the report, told em I had a regency date and flashed the copy of the transport docket to prove I've had the car less than a week. Didn't pop the bonnet or anything.
  3. Yeah colour isn't changing. I got no proof though as the odometer wasn't officially recorded on their paperwork. Car comp tested fine today though... Just gonna leave it and advise people not to deal with them. Karma will eventually kick their arse!
  4. Well the KE got here on Thursday. I've had no end of drama's with the transport company, god knows what happened with my car whilst they had it. Couldn't start it in the yard as it had a flat battery and was flooded. Ended up tow starting it with my old mans 4wd. Took it straight to Roberts Wheel Alignment @ beverly, drained the tank and put some 98 octane fuel in. Replaced the tierod ends whilst we had it on the hoist too. Car friggin boogs hard.... I've been driving it for the last couple of days, getting quotes for the things required to get it through regency. This list is slowly shrinking. Can anyone recommend a good auto elec in Adelaide's southern suburbs? I'd work on it myself but am that busy with work at the moment I would end up loosing money to gain the time to do it. Attached is a pic of it parked out the back of work, as well as a pic of the wife's daily.
  5. Ahhh... too easy then... :hmm: Do yourself a favour and keep a copy of your engineers reports in the car at all times, I've been driving my car for three days and already had a "discussion" with the boys in blue @ an RBT last night.
  6. You need to submit an intention to modify to Transport SA as well as the reports from your engineer, they will then mail you a statement or requirements to have the car registered in SA. The car will need to go to regency for a full roadworthy before they will register it. Also add Patrick Auto Frieght on the list of companies to avoid. I won't go into the details but lets just say I recieved less than average service from them. Oh and if you are wondering, I now own the green car with saab chasers! :hmm: And loving it!
  7. Getting Jono's car through regency is priority # 1, then it'll take over as a daily/track car so I can sell off the other cars I have taking up space at the moment. I intend to leave jon's car as is for the time being, only mods I'm thinking of at the moment is a half cage and a re-spray, as the rest of the car is pretty much there. My old KE is complete minus motor. I decided not to go any further with it after I pulled the 4k out of it to discover a hole in the chassis rail, it's not that bad at all but with time not being in abundant suppy for me, I decided to buy something already done than pursevere. I'll get some pics up in the next week or so, might strip it or sell as a roller. I'm just hanging for the car to get to Adelaide! I haven't driven a quick car in what seems like MONTHS..... Driving to work in the AE feels like I'm slowly dying every morning.... Cheers, Adrian
  8. Hi All, Thought I should at least introduce myself on here, I have been lurking for a while. I currently own a KE20, a shitty AE92 and a 2007 Levin ZR. Recently after a canary I decided to sell my RX7 and have just purchased Jono's KE20 4AGTE which is on it's way to sunny Adelaide as I type. I've been actively involved in the SARotors car club for the last 5 or so years, and enjoy competing in Modern Regularity out @ Malalla whenever I get the chance (not much over the last two years anyway.) Not much of a drifter (even though my last car was something of a drift pig) but looking forward to catching up with some fellow rolla heads on the next cruise. Cheers, Adrian
