the conector doesnt look two bad. where does it go from there, does it continue into the cab or two the engine bay, I'm guesing to the car, as ill check there to

yes it does, when i turn the blinker on they both pulse. thanks mate jed.

hay guys ive got a 4age in my ae71 and a little wiring problem. medicine man did the wiring for me, when we tested the blinkers right hand side worked fine but the left hand side went fast like it was missing a bulb, so didnt think any thing of it, when i tried to fix it buy putting a new bulb in i realised that they were all fine and when i acctually put my blinker on and had a close look i found out that the parker and the top blinker pulse really fast and the bottom blinker does not com on at all. any help would be grate. med- man will probs know straight away. haha cheers guys jed

hay guys i have done a 4age conversion on my ae71. it had a 4ac in it to start off with, i was wondering because it was a 1.6 litre do i need a enginer's certificate. i do realize that the 4age makes a bit more power than the old 4ac. what do you guys think or have any of you done this before. any help would be grate cheers jed

well i didnt think about that did i ill just save ive got the engine well whole car to pull engine out so nit can sit for a while before i figure out how much it will end up costing I'm guessing around 500 for engeneers (i no call them and find out for sure). a bit off topic but can you just run two fuel pumps or do you hav to hav a saurge tank thanksfor all your help so far guys it rely grate thanks :wink:

thanks guys my car is regoed (nsw) already i was wondering it is 1.6 litrer thats in it at the moment (4ac)and I'm not changing the capacity at all as littleredspirit said but what would happen if i say did it right and ready for a enginers certificate but didnt get one and drove around on it like that i no a mate who does pink slips so thats no problem when rego comes around basically what would cops do defect and go get engineers cert or what thanks alot guys :lol:

how much difference is there between the fe wireing loom and ge one thats probably a stupid question but ow well thanks again.

well to get the dizzy to fit i spose ill hav to re-shape the fire wall. why couldnt i just use the same fuel set up as wats in my ae92. maybe if i can find a 4age ill get it but how much is it for a 4age with loom and ecu I'm guesing 1500 maybe

yeah the reason for use'ing a fe is cause i already hav it the loom and the whole car and if the looms were the same between the two then i could just get a ge and use the loom ive got does any one kno how much auto elecs charge to do the wirein on somtin like this jus to get an idea I'm gunna hav a go but if its not that much it will save a shit load of hassles
