haha, i was contemplating it.. but then i was trying to think of another colour that would go well, but not too out there.. i couldn't decide and just wanted to go inside and sit down so i left them how they were, haha

aaaand, it's pretty much done..

the car's going to be off the road for a while, and I'm on holidays so i thought i'd spend some of that time off, respraying the car back to it's original colour..

it's off some sort of pulsar, not sure of the model! one of the boxier looking ones but it cost me $11 or something from you-pull it, cut it down the middle and a little bit more off each end to shorten it, and then a few bolts and wa-la! i could have spent more time on it, made it look less dodgey, but it still has the same effect

i don't think the tailshaft was very well balanced to begin with, the car would shake a bit between 60 and 70, and i never really thought anything of it. that day was just a little worse, going faster probably didnt help.. and i guess the bolts just got even more loose and eventually dropped out oh i know, may not even have the back half of the car.

driving along the free way. car always had a shaking problem, had no idea what it was.. but then i guess i found out once the bolts came undone and the tailshaft dropped out, haha

I'm pretty sure nothing "broke" . My car always had a shaking problem going between 60-70 and today I found out the reason.. Haha. The four bolts that connected the tail shaft to the diff either snapped or got so loose from the shaking that they just fell out. Tailshaft is out of whack or something, hence the shaking. Was going pretty quick, 90-100.. Woo for free raa towing

oh the pictures make it look a hundred times better than it does in real life, haha. one day it will have a proper paint job, still undecided about colour, but i guess i'll have a long time to decide.. :hmm:
