  1. ill try that mate but everything was working before i swapped the clusters over
  2. yesterday i took a trip to the wreckers in bundaberg and after scrounging around i came home with a few things. the cluster i grabbed however I'm having a few problems with. everything works except for the lights behind the gauges that come on with the parkers. i tried cleaning the contacts at the back where the harness plugs in, putting the bulbs from the other cluster in and still nothing. any ideas?
  3. i thought id throw mine up here after being under the house getting a rebuild and respray over the past 18 months. started out like this.. and 18 months and 1 or 2 thousand dollars later... inspiration for this car was from biggos green machine lol
  4. Bump anyone wanna help me out?
  5. hey, after reading the topic in the knowledge base on how to install an aftermarket tacho to a ke70, i still don't know what to do. On the back of the tacho there are 3 wires, black, red and green and there are 2 other wires, orange and black that go to a little bulb in the back of the tacho, could someone give me a simple diagram i can follow to wire all this up. Also, the guy i bought the car off, did all wiring himself so the car is a mess. the car will not start without the Altmeter hooked up. Can anyone hook me up with a simplified electirical diagram for a standard ke70. I had a look at the electrical diagram in the gregorys service manual and made no sense to me. thanks a heap in advance
  6. yeh possibly but I'm still working on getting twin carbs for it and a cam and stuff so in the mean time ill want good compression so back to my original question, would the valves hit the pistons now that i put the 4k flat tops in or cause any problems?
  7. the guy i bought it off said the engine block in the boot (4k) he said the cylinders were stuffed but i don't know know what he means by that? thats y i was planning on getting it bored out first but getting the funds is a different story
  8. wen i bought my Ke70 in 2006 it came with a 4k block in the boot however the motor in the engine bay is a 4k-u with the dished pistons. ill be keeping one of the blocks and getting bored out etc. anyway my question is would it be possible to put the flat top pistons in the 4k-u block for better compression or would they hit the valves or cause any problems? EDIT: i will be putting the original 4k head back on aswell
  9. haha this is my time to shine. Benny Benassi brooklyn bounce Ministry is good but its most club stuff Nick Skitz (Sydney guy) put out series called Skitzmix which is all DJ club doof doof stuff. some of them are pretty bassy and catchy Chemical brothers are good especially "Bass test" DJ Tiesto there are plenty more good doof doof music out there but that was just a squiz at my albums of about 400 lol. I have a cd of all bass testers which is pure bass. PM me if u want a copy and ill send ya a link.
  10. I got my L's second go, i failed my learners because i ticked yes on the "are you allowed to exceed the speed limit while overtaking". its my parents bad example haha. got my P's first go about 4 months ago with a perfect score and yet to have a crash or speeding ticket :(
  11. Hey guys, sorry about the very long dry spell. had money issues with new jobs and my girlfriend takes a lot of my time up but this is what ive got done while shes at tafe during the week. The whole car is now primed including a very dodgy engine bay prime. i don't have all the right tools and i have no skills in car respraying but I'm learning and i do with what i can. New pics Any tips for doing the engine bay without having to remove a lot of crap? i don't have the tools, skills or knowledge to rip the whole engine bay apart
  12. nice build up mate. keep up the good work. I'm not a big fan of pink but those dash lights look sick as
  13. i was cruising the forums a while back and found gillys Project Ke70 and wondered what rims are these in the pics below and where could i get me some of them? thanks a heap in advance
  14. @ SBox, yes those little yellow things on the vac lines were clips to hold them together. ok instead of taking a heap of pictures i did a quick video and followed the wires to give you a better idea
