A standard 16v 4AGE Does not = a Modified Engine that must be approved. If your smart enough, Approved by transport opperations = a mod plate mate, so get your facts right first, then flame me okay bud?

I don't mean buy a 4age and mod it like crazy to reach 199kw lol. I'm putting a standard 4age into my car with no engine mods, to, that's only 86kw or what ever the bigports have. I'm in qld and thats just the laws that i have researched, sorry for any mis-direction to people in the other states.

Hey mate, ive been doing my research and I'm in the same boat as you, I Have just picked my self up a ke70, and planning to drop a 4AGE into it, It is legal, aslong as u can get an engineers certificate with a mod plate and Don't exceed the 200kw max :(.

The t50 is coming out of a AE86, If so is it the tail shaft or diff i have to change, what do i change it to. Thanks

soz :y: it's in a 1983 ke70, gunna do a 4age conversion, so far i have... ae71 engine cross member ae71 gearbox cross member. Ae71 manual pedal box with hydraulic clutch master cylinder. Ae71 metal clutch line ae71 metal engine mounts ae71 rubber engine mounts. ae71 gearbox stays. ae71 sandwich plate. Is there anything else?

Just a question about converting from a 4k to the 4age, Do i need to change my tail shaft? or diff?

ok thank you :D totally newb at this, lol, Yeah its a standard KE70 4spd 4k. Want to make it 5sp, so just purchase a tasty K50 and whack her straight in?

I mean onto the stock 4k lol, need a 5 spd to get me to n from work since i use a highway, 4 spd doesn't pull it :D

Ok well instead of the t50, what about a k50 5spd box? do they slide straight in?
