  1. alright iv put a 4age bluetop out of a ae82 fxgt in 2 my dx and it wont go, plenty of fuel and compression but when you plug a spark plug into coil lead and crank it theres no spark...... until you let go of the key, then one sparks shoots across the gap. there no power getting to the dizzy but power at the coil iv figured out that somethings not plugged in as being the ADD aprentice mechanic that i am i didnt mark out any wires and after work(and plenty of red bull) just pulled motor and loom out thinking, it should be pretty obvious where the wires go.... how wrong i was anyway I'm pretty sure everythings plugged in EXCEPT one plug which looks pretty important. its a white two pin plug(the type with the horizontal top pin and vertical bottom one) and that comes straight off a 30 amp fusible link off thats on the positive battery terminal, so I'm guessin its needed so if theres ANYONE :y: :y: out there with a ae82 fxgt or a dx with bluetop out of ae82, can you pleeease let me no where it goes cos i just wana do sum skids.. cheers
  2. ok, i have recently become the proud owner or a 1980 ke70 twin headlight 68000 original km beauty. i decided to chuck a 4age in it and being an aprentice mechanic its not been hard so far, as the dx came with a half stripped ae70 complete with 4 speed k40(not a very common box i have found out) i decided I'm goin to run with that for a while. i got a ae82 fx-gt for the engine and loom, buuutt, not being very clued up in the auto sparky bizzo i just basicly put the hole loom from dash forward in the dx, which resulted in a shit load of wiring with more than a few fuse boxes, iv hooked everything up includind a VL fuel pump , but lo and behold when i wind it over.... no spark. theres not even any power at the coil which is all plugged in, apart from getting a ae86 loom how do i sort the wiring out.?? any help and info would be overrated
