Corolla 265

I don't think anyone would ever buy this thing unless i gave it away, better to keep it. As far as street legal, it has an SU carby in the glovebox! And the rest of the firewall and original tunnel are GONE! So nothing will ever be street legal.

Havnt updated for a while, Took it to heathcote a few weeks ago,, its running consistant 14.5s.

Might give it another run at Heathcote in Feb to see if i can get it to go faster,, then maybe ebay... in the meantime i will be looking for another Hot KE20.

After looking at all the rollas here I'm thinking i wanna get into a street legal 20 turbo.. Maybe its time to move this car on.. Any Ideas what its dollar value would be?

Well i gave it 2 runs at Heathcote yesterday.. Was a bit disapointed with the times but it was a fun day even tho it was 35 degrees. First run got a bit of wheelspin and it ran 14.5@95mph and the second run it coughed and splattered for some unknown reason. Managed to pull a nice 3rd gear burnout in the burnout comp. I let it loose in circles and lost a headlight wich went everywhere. A mate filmed it and i will get it up asap

I'm new to the hemi thing so I'm really not sure about specs, is the D3*** on the block? My mechanic has the tuning thing for SUs and it just fits in, altho i can easily remove the firewall from the inside.. I only know what i was told about the trans when i bought it and he said its a 904, could be BS tho. I have been reading Heathcotes website and I'm not sure they will even let me on the track without an ANDRA licence and log books.

Well I think Its almost finished. Just a few small things to do like the yellow dash and I'm driving to Bendigo today to pick up 2 race seats. Heathcote on boxing day for a few runs and the burnout comp.

Its running the big v8 904 trans and a 3k dominator stall Not sure i could fit any wider wheels and tyres under it. its running a 9 inch and 7 inch rims with 205 tyres and its pretty tight. I just bought Racing seats on ebay and will get a harness today

Do any of you guys use Peter Robinson Automotive in Clayton. If you guys don't know him then you should. He has so many Corolla bits From KE10 onwards. His prices are good too. 95441162. Tell him Matt from Complete Windscreens sent you and he said he was a legend. You might even get it cheaper then.

I adjusted up the rears and they are stopping it from doin burnouts.And the fronts work quite well.. Linelocker will be in next week
