  1. Hey guys, yep the 1uzfe-t KE20 ran 9.92 @ 137, unfortunately the car pushed through the foot brake on the line a bit tripping the beams a few tenths before i let it go. The car has no roll cage or harnesses etc so i was only ever going to get one pass. The resulting 60' was a 1.72 where as in reality it would of been closer to a 1.4, I did not realise i fumbled it and it felt strong so i made a pass out of it. Luckily it still went a 9 which is all i wanted to do with it, 1 tenth in the 60 is usually worth 2 at the end so i am thinking it would of went 9.50s fairly easy. Pretty happy with it, it runs a stock 1uzfe + arp rod bolts, commetic gaskets, arp head studs and upgraded valve springs. The turbo is a copy gt42 and the gearbox was an unknown $150 special with a few mods. The ODU400 plates are the original plates from the 2JZ ke20, some people think it means DO U in 400m, I usually run those plates on whatever my daily drive is. Jordan - this car runs stock leafs + caltracks on a shortened 1 tonner 10 bolt diff of all things, the 2jz car runs stock leafs, caltracks, 2 link and a large anti roll bar similiar to what they run in door slammers & a hilux diff. Some pics from wednesday night
  2. I started again on this progress about 3 months back. 4 days out to powercruise and still alot to go. And some 'testing'

Incorrect, the sparks the other night were from the tailshaft hitting the floor, we since fitted caltracs in the last week to fix this, the crank had no end float issues, never has, engine failure was due to massive stock main cap failure, quite catastrophic haha, will get some pics. Pretty stoked with the 7 though :)

Hey thanks for the comments :), i am fairly certain it could of went 1000 without gas given another run as the tyres were up to temp, also both passes archie got off it at 7800rpm which is 1000rpm short of where it feels to lay over on the track. Depending on driveline loss 928 might even come close to 1:1 engine hp : weight, car is 1236kg. With the bottle on i'd expect the rwhp figure to be near or just over 1100hp. Here is another vid from the andra jamboree footage last week.
  7. Yeah good show mate, last pass looked a little loose :)
  8. Probably should add mine here 1/4 mile et 8.03 @ 176mph 1973 KE20, 2JZ-GTE, street radials
  9. Stuff me what they were on about then, can't wait to see it go down the track, should be a very fun ride :)
  10. I heard a rumour that you'd given up on this project to buy a house?? but since this update i am now assuming a change in driveline plans?

Was a good weekend, ended up winning Modified 10.5, top qualified and won best burnout. Last pass was another 8.07 @ 176.95 so so close. You can see whats made the difference in those 2 pics above. Left pic from the nostalgias has pedders heavy duty springs and no strut travel limiter, pic on right from jambo is using king standard springs and chains to limit downwards travel
  12. Agreed, super tidy!, providing i don't break my car at nostalgia / janboree will see you ate powercruise

Cheers, at powercruise it was on pump/tol fuel with about 35 psi of boost in it. I think there is quite a few blokes keen to take it down at the next powercruise, i have a new progressive boost controller and might bring some decent fuel to keep them honest :jamie: Yep it fries coming onto boost in 1st then sits at about 8800rpm in top, with the 3.5 final ratio thats just on 300km/hr tyre speed haha
