  18. Hi there. the clear cam cover i found on US ebay. i like it as it has brass washers set into the plastic on the bolt holes to stop cracking. will post a link for you the exhaust manifold is good quality but we wont be running it. decided to run an external wastagate so having a custom one made. all the good stuff arrives tomorow. turbo microtech injectors intercooler etc etc and hoping it will be running by the end of the week. heaps of messing around with rims. AU stockers wont fit as they are meant for a IRS spring car not leaf (they foul on the leafs) F1 wheel and tyre here on the gold coast came out to measure it up. its a strange offset. Weld wouldnt send rodlites unless we took them fit or no fit. Ended up buying these Visit My Website 15 x 7 front and rear, 205/50 rear and 195/50 front fits perfect. So by the end of this week should be pretty close!
  19. thanks scott. just scored some AU 16" stockys ono ebay in great condition for 86 bucks. going to go down the stocky hubcap route as you said until i work out what rims i want
  20. read your zoom article today very impressive go the mighty bamboo thinking of weld rodlites at the moment
  21. new in bag waiting to be fitted not high priority right now
  22. thanks any suggestions on what rims i should run? its 5 x 114.3 front and rear, need to be 15 inch to fit the brakes was thinking superlites but they have a 6 week wait!!! :D
  23. forgot to mention...decided not to use the orange one. sold it to my brother in law who is going to keep it original picked up another 74 ke20 and got going. heres some pics:
  24. well its been six weeks since i last updated and lots has been happening at stoich motorsports on the ke20. heres a summary: - scored a overrated hicace diff with minispool and 4.1s already shortened with falcon discs and calipers (now fitted) - bought and had fitted a hopper stoppers front brake kit (AU3 XR8 slotted front rotors and calipers...they are huge) - had the 4age fitted with new gaskets seals water pump timing belt. bought a clear timing cover and adjustable timing gears. excedy clutch fitted - engine mounts i bought from a member were perfect and the motor is now fitted - t50 box fitted to standard cross member with an ae86 gearbox mount i bought from ebay - fuel system set up in boot, battery mounted in boot This week the shortened tailshaft is being built, and the shortened cables are being made. Have ordered some 15 inch superlites to suit the new ford stud pattern Monday the turbo and microtech arrives with the bigger injectors. Will be a low boost set up until i can afford forged internals. Also next week the intercooler/radiator combo and piping are being fitted. It should be on the road in less than two weeks. Will post some pics later this week.
  25. great advice jono will be looking into the w5x conversion I'm going to store all the original mechanicals so if i need to can put it back to stock just too tempting to build such a sleeper of a car
