Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Fortunately I have been able to source a rattle gun to use so should only take me a couple minutes now.

Hi guys can someone please help me. I have had a bit of a look around the site but can't find what I need. Can someone please tell me how do I take the strut tops off my KE70 front struts. I have tried unbolting it when on the car and off the car. All that happens is it spins. So I figure either their not meant to come off or I'm a little dim. Please help.

After a year and a half of searching and waiting I have finally got my first corolla! Its a 1984 KE70 Wagon. Picked it up for $600. The aim at this stage is to fix it up to road worthy and use as a daily. Down the track though I plan to give it an engine upgrade though. Still haven't decided between a 4AGTE or a CA18DET. I will upload some photos as soon as I can and you can see the work in progress.
