  1. never mind, i made some up today :bash: just went to bunnings and got some soft steel brackets and drilled some holes now gonna use them as a template to get some harder steel ones made up :)

  4. yeah, just depends on the price diff... i can get federal 595ss in fiddy profile cheap as with our sau discount from access, but i havenet asked about the 45 profile yet, and its a less common size...
  5. i'm looking @ federal 595ss in 195... anyone got any ideas on the profile i should go for? the options are 45 or 50
  6. that's what i'm thinking... i wanna go ###### challengers and the 15x8-9 is sick for the rears, but i'm not sure on the fronts, the other options are: 15 x 7 +8 offset might be too big.... might not be far enough out compared to the rears... 14 x 7 +3 mismatch... could look good.... not sure tho

  9. yeah i read your thread cover to cover :P i'm only looking for a cheap solution for around a year tops... and only cause most of the conversion has been done already. (xmember, pedal box, clutch, gear box) just need the motor and hopefully can use the old fuel pump from my old r33 as its currently doing nothing any idea what brand/spec cam i should be going for in the 16v 4age?

  12. yeah don't wanna spend the cash on the 4age at all just bolt in and forget.... the 4k is woefull! was wondering about the 20v.... but i'm not gonna spend on an ecu unless i find a hell cheap one is that the only major diff with a 20v? like can i use all my other stuff if i find an ecu? was thinking of tuning a 20v with cams on e85.... the extra timing usually gives ~20% power so say 120rwkw...
  13. yeah, just a half cage tho :P gotta find me a set of longchamps with good offset, and a front lip before anything tho :P hey adam... yeah, should be 4age in a couple of months... how much power can i juice out of an n/a 4age?
  14. gonna go cheapass home job saitn black w longchamps, chrome t18 bumpers and a quadlight conversion...
  15. yeah, gonna stick with toyota stuff for suspension and prolly gonna throw in a 4age for the meantime (12 moths odd) as its had the ae71 conversion done already anyone know of a good 4age? :dance:
  16. sweet as guys... will look more into the non s13 suspension side of things.... i'm off to look @ a ke70 now, with an ae71 crossmember, corona struts and sigma control arms....
  17. not to ignore advice here, i'm still looking at all angles... but how heavy are we talking? is it livable? or am i seriously gonna get pissed off and change things later? i'm only building a drift hack, to smash around in..... and i don't wanna spend massive amounts of cash again...
  18. sweet... i'm looking @ the hilux 1420 aswell, was just gonna weld it up :y: are there spools avail for the RN41 diffs? as for the s13 front handling badly, do you mean the stock s13 coilovers? i was speaking to my tuner, who has just done a few and now tunes leigh pidwell's car and he was saying it'll be easier if i use the s13 crossmember. you have any pics of the 15.7.5-5's?

  21. yeah, the fronts will be in a bit... need the rears flat tho thanks heaps for the fast replies mate :D : can't wait to get this thing underway... so far i all i have is the computer... lol
