  1. I am buying some SSR mesh wheels tomorrow but wanted to know how to calculate the offset if i were to flip the centres. The details of the wheels are: SSR 3 piece meshies 15x6.5 +23 http://nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?a...ttach_id=253647
  2. I'm spraying my car this week and the advantage of using acrylic is that if you get runs its as easy as sand out and paint again. 2pak is better left to the professionals as the finish is harder to achieve. any automotive paint is best when painted more air than paint coming from the gun and gravity fed is always a little better. Check out these write-ups, I found them very useful! http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...159153&st=0 http://monsterguide.net/how-to-paint-a-car
  3. I know there are people that have lifted engines out with a couple of mates, but I'm working on this car myself. Just need to borrow an engine crane, will pay!! I live in edwardstown. Cheers
  4. I have tried to have a search and have had no success! I have a 4k that I am about to bolt back into my ke70 and wanted to know what carb I will get more power out of? I have the option of a 32/36 weber jetted down to suit a 4k, rebuilt and all. or a twin su setup to suit 4k. The only other mod I have done to the car is extractors, everything else is standard. I prefer the look of the twin SU's but I am after power not cosmetics. any help greatly appreciated. Cheers
  5. It may be a weird request but I have been able to source myself a ke70 shell but it needs work. The only problem I have is that I don't have a shed to work on it in. I plan on fixing small rust spots, putting a new engine in and perhaps painting later. Does anyone know of a shed near Brighton or have one that they wouldn't mind "renting" out to me while I work on this? MY parents aren't too fond on me working on cars at home!! Cheers
