  3. Taz sound like I'm up the creek without a paddel. Has to be OEM KE30/55 corolla. Ive got some bilsteins that drop in but as there adjustable It's illegal to run them, Basic shock rule is you can change shocks but must fit orignal mounts, and no comp shocks like afco,bilstein,koni, no adjustables , no external canister. I was hoping something like a commadore strut cartridge would drop in with no mods, as that would be valved for a heaver car should work better, I should be able to run that. The basic rule is all arms,rods,struts,spring hangers must remain standard as per manufacture year. Looks like only option so far is to rebuild a factory wet leg and use heaver oil in it. We just run the national titles in tassie and they were pretty hot on shocks, Thats why I want to stay within the rules. Thanks Andy

Rules state have to run OEM suspension, so no go on the strut swap, as we only turn left, I'm happy with the left front, but need something stiffer in right front, I'm thinking i may need to look at rebuilding the factory wet leg and running heavy oil as technically I cannot revalve.   5. Rob In speedway We suffer from flexing strut towers and flexing top strut mounts. We also get fatigue in the K frame where the lower control bolts go through, fix this with a 3mm plate welded over where the hole elongates and then redrill the hole. Where the front of the leaf spring is welded to the subframe we get cracking there, weld a 3mm plate over the cracks. I suspect our rear subframe was flexing around the rear of leaf spring hangers I have now reinforced this section as well. Most speedway KE30's teams also have reinforced the front tiebar between the subframe arms, we have not done this but note our subframe did crack above the Kframe last sesson, Due to rules this crack was repaired with 1.6mm plate The main part of our rollcage is 38mm x 3mm Next off season we will be reshelling the old girl Hope this helps Andy
  6. Were running the pedders comfort gas, the white ones, they don't make the sports option pedders red for KE30 anymore
  7. I have brought 2 bigport heads in the last lear and paid 150 each for them. When we had our engine sealed for speedway they checked inside the ports for the casting marks. Also if you install a bigport head you will need a bigport inlet manafold
  8. Hey can anybody help me out, Got a KE30 running pedders comfort gas strut inserts, I want somthing a bit stiffer, What can I get they will drop straight in. Thanks Andy
